I did my masters in Journalism and begin the volunteer work since then. I worked as an internee in the English News Daily and that is how I started my career. Followed by the traits of a journalist I did a massive research on the topic of
'Muslim women and the West' ; covering the stereotypes attached with the Islamic women around the globe. I have been a Free Lancer, specifically writing on the topics of Women rights and elaborating the norms of the patriarchal society in
contrast with the teachings of Islam. I have recently moved to Canada and would like to contribute my ideas and share some piece of knowledge with the people over here.

Career Accomplishments
Lead a project entitled "Women in jail" ; worked with Asma Jahangir, founding member of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and President Supreme court bar Association of Pakistan. Covered the life of innocent women in jail that are suffering for years.
Head the project named "Negative portrayal of women in the media" and outlined the dark side of both print and electronic media that project women negatively for the promotion of their products.
Worked in a Preschool for six months, dealt with the playgroup children and their initial learning problems. By extensive research and effort, initiated a new and Improved mechanism for learning phonics and numbers.
Worked with Jamia Naeemia, a renowned Islamic institution in Lahore, Pakistan. Researched extensively for three years on the Topics of 'Rights of Women in Islam' and 'Muslim Women and the West.' With Sir Maqsood Ahmad and other well-known Islamic scholars, got the chance to understand the status of Women in Islam versus the elaborated myths of a patriarchal so-called Muslim society.
Won the 'Best picture Award' for the project entitled 'Breakfast at Tibbi', a place surrounding the Red light area in Lahore, Pakistan. Headed by Sir Shahid Zaidi, Owner at Zaidi Photographers, it was an exceptional experience capturing the early morning life at the Area.
