As a student at Tennessee College of Applied Technology, my focus has been a specialty in Biomedical Electronics, which has
included studies in Anatomy & Physiology, Biomedical Instrumentation, Health Occupations Prep., Signal Processing, Hydraulics,
Pneumatics, Telecommunications, Microprocessors, Electrical Wiring, and fundamentals of DC, AC, Analog, and Digital Circuits.
This also involves hands on training and use of electronic measurements and test equipment with digital and analog voltmeters,
oscilloscope, function generators and logic probe. Other related skills:
• Solder and assembly techniques, using solder/desolder station.
• Carry out work assignments, using schematic drawings, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, or following directives and
instructions as required.
• Test components and equipment, following manufacturers’ manuals and troubleshooting techniques.
• Inspect and test malfunctioning medical or related equipment, follow manufacturers' specifications and using test and analysis
instruments.
