1. INTERNSHIP ON ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS FROM INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,

During the two months of the above internship, he has worked under Dr. Prithwijit Guha, EEE, IIT,

Guwahati (www.iitg.ac.in/eee/pguha.htm) on machine learning of multilayer perceptron. His priority

was on the machine learning of Restricted Boltzmann Machine (RBM) in C language.

2. INPLANT TRAINING AT BHARAT HEAVY ELECTRICALS LIMITED (BHEL)-ELECTRONICS

DIVISION: During the 4 week Industrial Training, he has obtained an industrial exposure and hands -0n

experience in the field of Industrial Electronics. Various product manufacturing, product marketing,

planning and strategy development, managerial layouts, database management systems etc. were the

major aspects covered with particular exposure in:

programmed in OFC,SDH,DWDM, and Networking Technology used for providing Broadband and VPS

services across India to modernize Train Control Operation and Safety System of Indian Railways

Under the following venture he has studied, in details, concept of CDMA, CPR, GSM, TRANSMISSION

3. PROJECTS:

I. Co-group leader of a self-guided project (selected and fully funded by Research and

Promotion Cell of NIT Silchar).The objective of this sophisticated project includes

building a “Self-stabilized Quad-rotor with Autonomous Flight capability using

control systems”. The unmanned Ariel vehicle (UAV) would be fully autonomous in

lifting from ground, calculating its shortest flight path, overcoming obstacles in its path

to landing at the desired spot, all just by a click on Google earth/Google map. We are

using a low-cost android device

I. Modelling and simulation of next generation, low-power RF MEMS Shunt switches.

OBJECTIVE: To simulate and create a compact lumped parameter model with parasitic

effect of an advanced switch as per our in-genuine architecture.

The new design will reduce switching time, spring constant etc. resulting in a very low

pull-down voltage having a range of 3-4 volts. Such low voltage operable switch is yet to

be fabricated anywhere else in the world. This would revolutionize the various

applications of RF MEMS Shunt Switches in the fields of Bio-medical instruments, Space

programs etc.

(B). CULTURAL: He has been a coordinator of RAZZMATAZZ --- one of the most important part of the

annual techno-cultural festival of NIT SILCHAR (http://www.nits.ac.in/festivals/festivals.html) which

includes different technical and cultural competitions for the school students in and around the region
