SAFELY drilled HPHT wells in a H2S environment on land rig in Abu Dhabi
with ADCO UAE. Also HPHT wells in Algeria with Weatherford and Halliburton
DEVELOPED drilling practices that reduced the number of BHA's lost in hole
in unstable formation from per well to none.
SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the cost and duration of development wells on an
underperforming rig while improving safety through leadership, training and
team building.
MANAGED to drill in environmentally sensitive areas without causing
pollution, implemented ISO 14001 environmental standards.
SUCCESSFULLY managed the logistics of a difficult well in a remote location
while shore based and for fast wells in a remote location offshore.
EXPERIENCED with drilling from various types of rig on land . .
SAFELY started up a new operation integrating Algeria with Weatherford and
Halliburton crews with over 4 years LTI free and greatly increased
efficiency.

Drilling Supervisor, Shell Syria
April 1985 - Dec 2006
Initially based helping with drilling programs and logistics planning.
Then a drilling supervisor on land super rigs exploration and appraisal
wells deep wells 4200 m, in HP low volume gas problem, started with 3.5 M
USD to 1,2 M YSD per well drilled so many wells vertical, deviated and
horizontal wells, then changed to work over operation, repair casing and
running completion, in HPHT wells .
Senior Drilling Supervisor in Abu Dhabi with ADCO Dec 2006 - April
2008
Senior drilling supervisor working on super rig on land operation in high
concentration of H2S environment, drilling with air due to big losses
during drilling top hole, some problem were encountered losing BHA due to
crack caused by air drilling this problem was successfully solved using
new technique when drilling with air, the wells was drilled 3000 m TVD and
300 - 400 horizontal section .
Senior Drilling Supervisor, with Weatherford IDS in Algeria
April 2008 - Oct 2012
Started up a land rig in Algeria Hassi Messaoud field as senior drilling
supervisor on new work over project with new crews on HPHT wells, killing
high gas wells, pulling old completion, fishing, milling and recovering
packers, set cement plug and drill short radius horizontal wells and run
liners slotted or solid liner depends on the well situation and most of the
drilling was under balance drilling tested horizontal production wells.
Overcame serious problems with communications and work ethics with the rig
achieving 3 year without an LTI . the work over project was finished after
extended for one year, then Weatherford signed contract in Berkine field
for HPHT drilling, I worked with Weatherford IDIS till the contract was
finished in June 2012,
Senior Drilling Supervisor, with Halliburton Oct
2012 - Dec 2012

end of their project we have finished and complete 4200 m deep HPHT well
and complete same then the rig was stacked and all the employee were
released waiting for new contract. Developed drilling practices to
eliminate stuck pipe and side tracks. Provided training in advanced well
control to contractors. Successfully implemented zero discharge drilling
and ISO 14001 certification.
