2011 - Security Forces and Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM), United States
Current Air Force National Guard, Boise, Idaho.
I worked as a security officer for the first two years and moved up with more responsibilities
under CATM. Security officer included making arrests, dealing with high stress situations,
always having to be alert, and working long hours. CATM requires a high level of
responsibility and alertness. I instruct firearms safety with a level of respect that I can show
authority to those of higher ranks while concurrently respecting their rank.

At this job I was a volunteer officer, where I learned how to balance two jobs, a volunteer

job, and college full-time while managing to get exemplary grades. I worked with a full

time officer on patrols, and helped the work load be a little less for them.

For the first year and a half I was an IT tech for the school’s learning management system

which included all students for each teacher, and all assignments for each student. In this I

helped students and professors with technical problems within the program. I received many
compliments from professors on my work ethic and level of respect.
The next year I was a reading center tutor where I helped people with either learning
disabilities or international students that needed help with study skills or reading
comprehension. I received a CRLA certification here where I am now a nationally recognized
tutor. I mostly taught necessary study skills.
October Volunteer
2008-
I worked with a volunteer agency in India for two years where I led groups of up to 20

volunteers in motivational meetings. In accordance I helped teach English classes,
