for the Petrochemical industry.

• Designing Technological solutions for the cement process, mostly being in charge of the

NOX emission control project where different alternatives were investigated, analyzed to

reduce NOx Emissions to atmosphere from flue gases generated in the production process

of cement.

• Design, construction and testing of a Photocatalytic reactor for lab, reactives/products

characterization techniques were employed.

• Advanced design and scaling-up were completed to obtain a pilot reactor. Simulation,

Optimization and characterization were run after each one of the experiments in order to

take the next step in implementation of the photocatalytic process of NOx reduction.

Dow Ras Tanura Integrated Project - Refinery

At Houston from October 2008 to June 2009

• Working as Process Engineer providing technical support to the Ras Tanura Refinery

Project, doing basic/detailed engineering, making pumps/pipelines hydraulic calculations

and equipments design for the polycarbonate production area.

• Responsible of modifying and reviewing PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment datasheets and other

technical documents.

• Working at the Construction Support group on pre-commissioning tasks, being responsible

of the group at the Houston office since October of 2006.

• Coordinating with Snamprogetti (Milan) and Monterrey offices on the hydro/pneumatic test

packs definition for the whole Escravos GTL plant in order to test pipelines at the module

(Abu Dhabi) and field yard (Nigeria) as well as chemical cleaning and plant start-up.

• Generating material spreadsheets in order to get an early knowledge of the testing materials

that need to be purchased and technical guidelines during the testing process, avoiding with

this several problems during plant assembly and construction at field.

• Attending to model reviews with the client (Chevron) in order to have the most current

information and discussing about the constructability and access for the hydro testing,

chemical cleaning and pre-commissioning activities at the plant.

• Compare/Analyze possible Construction Service Suppliers for the Fab-Shop and Plant site.

• Supporting the project during internal and client revision to the plant using Smart plant

model review, generating snapshots for several presentations for the Nigerian authorities for

project phase approval, also adding comments, supporting with this different disciplines

such as construction, piping, civil and control systems.
