Dear Hiring Manager,

Having earned my Bachelor degree in Business Administration, I would like to apply for the

position of Accounting Assistance at Ashley Lighting. Although I have held mostly Human

Resources positions, I believe I would do an excellent job in your accounting department.

I have a great deal to offer:

• A self-starter with strong attention to detail;

• Excellent communications, oral and written skills;

• Highly motivated and a team player;

• Possess social skills that build and maintain relations across and beyond the organization;

• Proficient with IT skills, as well as proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and ADP,

along with good organizational, time management and general office skills.

The areas I am not familiar with, I know I can learn in a very short period of time.

I believe my strengths, abilities and skills would make me an excellent candidate for this job. I
