DESIGN ENGINEER
Responsible for providing the design, development and project management of both customer and internal orthopedic
instrumentation projects. Work cross functionally to design for manufacturability and ensure the highest quality product.
Lead project to convert a single use system into a reuseable, in which Paragon will maintain design control.
Successfully completed projects from initiation to production for a variety of different customers.
Completed the development and installation into production of several injection and compression mold tools for
different customer projects.
Responsible for Paragon Medical Standard Surgical Handles, including but not limited to new developments, ECNs,
design modifications and verification and validation testing.
Mentored interns and co-ops on the use of CAD tools and the methodology of generating concepts for development
and manufacturing.

Assisted in solving a peeling issue with a coating on a neuro-monitoring system which included testing, product
inspection, fixture design and creation, and a product design change.
Translated instrumentation concepts from engineers into models and prints for prototype and production use.
Successfully completed several engineering change notices and design releases utilizing MS Office, Pro Engineer and
Agile PLM software.
