synergy dollars from the company’s reverse merger with Salton. Partnered with the FP&A manager to work on the
merger of the two companies financial information into the Hyperion Financial Reporting System, making sure the
company did not lose any of its reporting capability in the process.
• Responsible for the building of the annual budgets and forecasts for Supply Chain, Freight and SG&A departments.

• Managed the finance and accounting teams at the DHL North American headquarters in Plantation, FL. Responsible
for the financial analysis of DHL’s facilities management expenses for both the U.S. and Mexico, which generated
over $30 million in revenue annually. Identified and took the lead on correcting a system error in the way use tax
was being calculated and charged that resulted in our recouping $250K in the 4th quarter.
• Worked closely with senior management to identify areas of potential cost savings, by identifying and evaluating
spending trends at over 600 individual DHL sites across the country. By working together with the Procurement
department, was been able to identify more cost-effective deals for janitorial work, HVAC repair, and energy costs.
• Responsible for the processing of all month end journal entries and cost transfers, and the generation of the fixed
price and out of scope contracts. Monitored the AR aging to ensure payments are being received on time. Took the
lead on getting DHL set up to pay JCI invoices electronically, resulting in payment float being cut by over two
weeks.

investigation of any vendor issues that may arise, such as payment issues, sales tax credits, new vendor setup.

time, reviewed payments to ensure withholding tax and licensing fees were calculated by affiliate correctly.
• Performed the month-end closing, prepares and reviews monthly billing for accuracy. Also ensured that the billing

senior management.
• Worked closely with Affiliate Marketing in maintaining the affiliate subscriber report, a detailed listing by affiliate of
how many households the Golf Channel is being received in. Ensured that the report is in balance with the most
recent remittances and reflected the correct billing rates. Also worked closely with account executives in the
advertising sales side to ensure payments were being applied correctly and accounts are up to date.
• Supervised the team’s conversion to the Medea database system. Was responsible for ensuring that all team members
are properly trained on the new system. Also was responsible for testing the system to identify any potential
problems or enhancements that were needed.
