Provided top level F&B services to the invited ‘VIP Guest & Reliance Guest’.

o Players Hospitality for Mumbai Indians Team & ‘Visiting’ Team. Negotiate with Top

Hotels for F&B service for the players. Done planning & implementation of Service for

Practice day & Match Day. Made special food ‘Menu’ planning for the players with

services to “Corporate Box” Guest, ‘VIP Guest & Reliance Guest’. Done all the Co-

ordination with ‘Kingfisher’ & ‘Pernod-Ricard-India’.

o Provided around 1800 Complimentary food packet every match day to all support

staffs & Govt. Staffs (i.e. Fire Brigade, BEST Electricity, Police and Municipality Staff

etc.). Done negotiation with local vendor for supply food to support staffs.

• Hotel: Requirements of 2000 room nights in Mumbai and other cities in India. Done

negotiation with all Top groups of hotel in India. Taken lot of additional amenities with room

without extra cost. My negotiation was best negotiation with ITC Hotels. Later other

franchises & BCCI accepted the same room rate from ITC.

• Security:

o Players Security for Mumbai Indians Team & ‘Visiting’ Team. Negotiate with Top

private Security group for team security. Given 24x7 cover to the team.

o ‘Tops Security Group’ Covered Hotel Security during hotel stay, Escort & Close

Protection Services while team movement (traveling between Airport to Hotel, Hotel

to Practice & Match day). Stadium Security also provided by ‘Tops Security Group’.

Deployed around 1000 security personnel during each match. Given 24x7 cover to

the ‘Stadium & Pitch’ done planning for Stadium Security deployment, Sanitizations of

Ground (i.e.… Carrying out Anti Sabotage Check, Explosive Detection drill). Protection

given to VIP area, Ticket Selling Areas, Media Centre, Corporate Box area & Players

Dressing Room area.

o Negotiation done for ‘Electronic Security Equipments’ (i.e.… Door Metal Frame, Hand

Metal Detector, Walky Talky &Light Baton etc.) & Sniffer Dog.

o Hired one ‘Security Liaison Officer’ From ‘Nicholls Steyn & Associates – South

Africa’ for Team Security. Hired most experienced cricket team security expert in the

world.

o Provided 200 ‘Asher’s’ to the Stadium every match for crowd control.

o Provided ‘CCTV’ to the stadium for ‘Close Monitoring’.

• Logistic:

o ‘Kingfisher Airlines’ was the official Travel Partner for ‘IPL’. Mumbai Indians also

used ‘Jet Airways’ few sectors. Done negotiation with Jet Airways for rates & facility.

Hired ‘Chartered’ services from ‘Jet Airways’. Done coordination with Team &

Airways for travel plan & booking.

o ‘Local Travel’ : Negotiated with local car vendor for hired ‘Bus & Car’. Used our own

contract vendor for out station travel.

• Stadium Maintenance & Support Service:

o Housekeeping: Cleaning of entire stadium before & after match, planning &

implementation.

o Flower Arrangements: Appointed one florist for decorating ‘VIP Guest & Reliance

Guest’ area.

o Electrical & DG: Coordination done with BEST & MSEB for uninterrupted electricity

supply during match. Appointed one professional electrical contractor for checking &

maintaining entire electrical system of the stadium. Hired DGs for backup of

electrical supply.

o TV & Cable: Negotiated with local ‘Cable Operator’ for supplying TV & Cable

connection for ‘Corporate Box Guest’, ‘VIP Guest’ & ‘Reliance Guest’.

o Air Condition: Hired almost 150 A/C for ‘Corporate Box Guest’, ‘VIP Guest’ &

‘Reliance Guest’ for both the stadiums.

o Decorators: Hired For beautification & supplying ‘Chairs’ & ‘Sofas’ for ‘Corporate Box

Guest’, ‘VIP Guest’ & ‘Reliance Guest’

• Stock Management:

o Merchandise: Coordinating with ‘ADIDAS’ for dispatch of ‘Merchandise’ and

receiving. Distributing ‘Merchandise’ according the instruction received from team

‘Coach’ & ‘Manager’. Maintaining stock record, inventory & monthly updated report to

the top management.

o Others: Maintaining stock record & inventory of Official records, Assets, unsold

tickets. Monthly updated report to the top management. All activity done before &

after ‘IPL’.

• Liaison:

o BMC: Approached ‘BMC’ for all BMC related license. Done all the coordination during

inspection and other activities.

o Police: Done meeting with the entire Police department for police deployments inside

and out side stadium and coordinate for all the police permission.

o Traffic Police: Done meeting with the entire Traffic Police department for

deployments,

Road diversion & Traffic control.

o Fire Brigade: Obtain all the permission & deployment of Fire Brigade vehicle & staff

during the match.

o Excise: For liquor license to serve ‘BEER’ & ‘Wine’ inside the stadium. Approached

‘Thane’ & ‘Mumbai’ Excise department for obtaining licenses.

o Hospital (Ambulance & Doctor): Done tie-up with ‘Bombay Hospital’ for

emergency services. Appointed Five Doctor with assistant & Ambulance.

• Accreditation: Coordination between ‘IPL Accreditation Team’ & all vendors, supplier &

team official for collecting documents & photo and distribution.

• General Administration: One point contact for Administrative work. Verifying

requirements, bills and payment. Planed for stationery requirements, Co-ordination between

team member and providing support. For late working team member providing food &

logistic support. Coordination between ticket sales team for all logistic, security & food

arrangement. Deploying office boy for all in & out office work. Was responsible for maintain
