Manages a testing team of 25 testing resources that is involved in 3 major projects in 4 applications to complete testing activities such as requirements review, test planning, test execution, defect analysis and triaging, and test status reporting to project stakeholders. Creates the master test strategy for all testing projects covering different applications and integration with third party development teams. Responsible for overall capacity planning, testing estimation activities, and testing metrics reporting. Handles resource performance management and career counseling activities for the entire team. On-going projects:
- Implementation of a centralized customer preference system for billing and outage notifications, testing scope is system integration testing of 4 applications integrated to newly developed backend processes to send notifications to customers via phone, email and text. (13 testing resources, 8 months, 3 releases)
- A major web application conversion to responsive design, testing scope includes functional system testing on both desktop and mobile devices. The first phase completed on time and on budget last December 2014. (9 testing resources, 6 months, 1 release)
- Configuration of a centralized Environmental Health and Safety web application and integration with various data sources system. (4 testing resources, 2 years, 5 releases)
Manages another team of testers to complete testing tasks on minor enhancements and maintenance activities to 4 online and 1 IVR applications before releasing to production.

Managed a centralized testing team that grew from 3 resources to 25 resources (as of November 2014) and expanded the scope of applications from 1 to 6. Overall responsibility is to ensure that all testing activities such as test planning, defect triaging, test execution and test closure reporting for multiple testing projects of 5 online and 1 IVR applications are completed. In 2013 and 2014, we have an average of 23 releases per year (mix of major projects and minor enhancements). Directly reports to project manager onshore and offshore.
