Barakah Nuclear Power Plant 400kV Switchyard is one of the large-scale and iconic projects in U.A.E. The Emirates

Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) is establishing the power plant which is constructed by Korea Electric Power

Corporation (KEPCO) with the capacity of 6760 MW. Mott MacDonald’s role in this project is to do the architectural

and structural Design of the 400kV GIS switch yard buildings and control building

Significant Achievements

• Performed the role of an architect and been responsible for the full design and drafting of the GIS buildings and

control building

• With the guidance of TRANSCO specification, I coordinated with structural team to do the accurate detail

drawings including infrastructure

• Maintained records of all stage drawings with the history of all transmittals (preliminary/ tender / construction

stages)
