Recent Projects
Developed SSRS Reports to optimize Ford Motor Global Supply Chain Management (11/2013 – 2/2015)
Created reports to Identify and classify production capabilities of all plants worldwide. Calculated plant capacities and upper limits of
production under a variety of assumptions, forecasts and scenarios for retail and wholesale demand, product mix, plant staffing and
capacity constraints. Provided consulting, technical support and best practice recommendations to the Global Capacity Management
Report Development Team Developed SSRS tools for management of production scenarios.
Tools used: MS SSRS and Excel Pivot Tables.
Quality Control/Web Deployment of all Ford Motor Capacity Management reports (3/2014 – 2/2015)
Responsible for deployment to the Ford Motor Web Portal of all Corporate Global Capacity Management SSRS Reports. Developed and
maintained HTML pages for the formatting and display of reports. Created, implemented and administered quality control standards for
report development and deployment. Quality control included creation of SQL scripts to be used by all developers to test the accuracy of
report data. Developed diagnostic queries/reports to troubleshoot reporting scenarios. Created and maintained a version controlled
inventory of all corporate capacity management reports
Tools used: dotNet framework using MS SSRS and HTML. AccuRev version control
Created a Web-Based, Dashboard Expense Reporting System for Severstal NA (1/2013 - 11/2013)
Developed and implemented a system to allow finance managers and line production managers to monitor, via a web-based report,
current status of all expenditures as compared to plans and forecasts. The system was constructed to automatically access corporate
databases to refresh the dashboard databases, and to provide a summary dashboard report with two levels of drill-down capability: 1)
from the corporate level to the Business unit level, and 2) from the business unit level to the discrete expense line item.
Tools used: dotNet framework utilizing MS SSIS and SSRS.
Created an Analytic Cube to evaluate Severstal NA Corporate Shipping Function efficiency (5/2012 - 3/2013)
Developed a Data Warehouse using a Fact/Dimension Model that describes the Corporate Shipping function in terms of metrics including:
Products, Orders, Inventory Location and Shipments. Created ETL packages to import data, and SQL stored procedures to assemble data
into Fact and Dimension tables. Developed Work-In-Process and Shipment Cubes and exported Cube data into Excel Pivot tables for use
by end users. Tools used: MS SSAS cubes, MS Excel Pivot Tables.
Created a Prototype Semantic Database of Severstal NA Steel Products (4/2012 - 12/2012)
This research project involved the creation of a database and an ontology that described the products, product characteristics and
relationships among a small subset of Severstal steel products. The project also included a query function. Semantic definitions in the
ontology gave meaning and definition to the database elements. Because these meanings could be incorporated into queries, users could
easily and intuitively construct more powerful queries than possible with traditional relational databases that consist entirely of opaque
data. Tools used: Ontology, Protege Ontology Editor, Semantic Markup Language, SPARQL query language, PostgreSQL database.
Data Analysis to Detect Fraud and Abuse of Chrysler Corporation Warranty Program (5/2011 - 1/2012)
Reviewed Chrysler's dealer warranty program and performed statistical analysis of operational data to detect aberrant dealer behavior and
reduce warranty cost. Performed statistical sampling of labor and parts cost for various repair groups to determine whether use patterns
fell within anticipated and acceptable ranges. Evaluated dealers and corporate warranty processors with respect to financial performance,
efficiency and error rates. Evaluated warranty data to assess adherence to lean manufacturing principles. Tools used: MS Access,
MS Excel, Pivot Tables, MS Visio, Minitab.
2
Search Engine Optimization, Research and Technical Writing for AB Marketers (5/2010 - 3/2011)
Conducted research and analysis regarding the development of marketing copy and the identification and placement of keywords to
improve the ranking of the company's online advertising placements with respect to Internet queries and searches. Investigated global
and local search volume and cost per click metrics to identify optimum keywords for high rankings in selected product categories.
Incorporated keywords into sample copy. In support of this work, conducted extensive research into current methodologies for discovery
and ranking of web-based data. Tools used: Google PageRank, MS Excel
Analysis/Improvement of Heavy Truck Crash Avoidance System (FMEA) for Eaton Corp (4/2009 - 12/2009)
Using FMEA methodology, performed data mining, data analysis, and data modeling to identify causes of high incidence of crash warning
alerts detected during Eaton's Integrated Vehicle-Based Safety Systems (IVBSS) Field Operational Test. Used a fusion of vehicle state
sensor data, radar and lane sensing camera data, Eaton proprietary time-sequence visualization tools and SQL databases. Identified
sources and causes of crash warning alerts in terms of: equipment design/performance failures, environmental conditions and driver
behavior. Recommended corrective actions, and monitored vehicle performance after adjustment to determine whether faults had been
corrected. Tools used: MS SQL2005/2008, MS DTS, Matlab, MS Excel, Pivot Tables, Google Earth

with automated lane-keeping) within the FHWA TRANSIMS System (Transportation Analysis and Simulation System) an open-source
transportation modeling tool that allows transportation researchers to simulate and investigate the performance of traffic networks in major
U.S. cities. Tools used: C++, Eclipse Integrated Development Environment, Software Revision Control (TortoiseSVN
