• Prepare, monitor and follow-up Time and Action plans for production orders ensuring all steps are
executed on time to facilitate timely PSDs and deliveries thereby ensuring OTP (on time performance)
[Includes attending to day-to-day operational issues such as order fulfilment, delivery deadlines and on
time PSD whilst, solving same to achieve DIFOT].
• Monitor the RM and accessories stability report on a weekly basis and circulate same amongst relevant
personals in order to ensure information availability and highlight possible issues that may occur at the
plant in order to trigger necessary action.
• Liaise directly with the Business division and obtain short shipment approvals in a timely manner by
providing accurate documentation in instances where 103% shipments have not taken place.
• Perform the following duties in a timely and effective manner in order to ensure smooth production
operations:
• Arrange the pre-production meetings, and ensure documentation such as trim cards, comment sheets,
fabric swatches, samples are available and identify/ solve issues that arise in the production process in a
timely manner
• Monitor the weekly stock write-off report by obtaining information from SAP controlling team and
arrange for necessary approvals for same by liaising with the relevant business divisions.
• Perform the following activities in order to control the SAP system in an effective manner:
• Ensure 100% on time updation of the line-in and line-out scanning system
• Ensure 100% FG confirmation of the daily line-out scanned quantities
• Take accountability of the on time efficiency report
• Monitor stock levels at the temporary storage location as well as external locations
• Monitor the completed SO stocks and circulate the relevant report on a weekly basis whilst also,
monitoring WIP levels in all areas
• Monitor the error log and clear same
• Supervise/ monitor the activities of recorders whilst, preparing factory information reports in a timely
manner
• Ensure that all steps in the weekly stock clearance process is monitored and adhered
• Ensure stock accuracy of the SAP system ensuring all process disciplines are adhered
• Follow up embellishment summery report to get the accurate data on re-cut order quantities which have to
be sent to the external embellishment plants and give the data to cutting department on time.
• Ensure strict adherence to organizational standards/ practices such as MOS, SOPs, Compliance standards,
health and safety and 5S within the team whilst, leading relevant initiatives for same

Implement MOS initiatives at the plant whilst, providing relevant training, guidance and assistance in order to
ensure a LEAN culture is achieved and sustained within the organization
• Monitor the KPI’s/ performance of the Executives and Managers at the plant on a constant basis ensuring
relevant targets are met whilst, taking necessary action in the event of any deviations, following-up on
same in order to achieve high plant performance levels, driving a KPI culture amongst all employees
• Ensure the reports related to MOS are sent in a timely and accurate manner to the relevant parties thereby,
supporting the decision making process:
• Implement MOS initiatives across all sections at the plant, performing activities such as the following in
order to ensure a MOS culture is implemented:
• Analyze relevant processes/ situations and inform the Management on initiatives that should be taken
whilst, providing advise/ guidance on same
• Drive initiatives to the level of execution, following-up until such initiatives are completed
• Work alongside internal teams at the plant on various initiatives to develop a lean culture and to ensure
proper implementation of MOS practices
• Allocate central team resources according to the demand and ensure maximum resource utilization
• Support teams with their A3’s and PDCA’s,following-up on actions and timelines to ensure a problem
solving culture is established thereby, enhancing the plant’s performance
• Take responsibility for annual Value Stream Mapping and bi-annual Process Mapping activities in order
to ensure processes are streamlined and ‘wastes’ are eliminated
• Drive 5 day Kaizen projects and provide necessary guidance and support to execute and sustain new
initiatives thereby, ensuring high productivity
• Ensure the plant operates according to the MOS calibration tool requirements whilst, driving teams to
practice the standards/ requirements of same
• Ensure the following activities are carried out in an effective and timely manner in order to ensure the
sustenance of MOS practices and the implementation of best practices across the plant:
• Take part at meetings, forums as and when required, representing the plant as the MOS champion whilst,
communicating necessary information to the plant’s Management team, working on/ taking measures to
implementing best practices
• Follow-up on improvement proposals, special projects set by the Senior Management and ensure
implementation of the same
• Mentor project champions and monitor the progress of projects/ initiatives taken, recommending
necessary action where bottlenecks/ issues are faced (Includes: Monitoring of project budgets and
ensuring they are in line with the business needs)
• Organize relevant MOS training/ coaching for identified persons in the plant in order to facilitate the
MOS Job base training process for Trainees and ensure the availability of effectively trained staff to take
MOS practices forward within the plants
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards such as:
• SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety and 5S in day to day activities whilst, leading MOS
initiatives such as PDCAs, Kaizen and other special projects within the team
• Assess resource requirements, provide information for the preparation of annual budgets and
monitor/control departmental expenditure ensuring it is in line with the budget
• Lead, direct and motivate the team/ immediate subordinates, monitor performance/ provide feedback and
handle grievances as and when the need arises whilst, taking steps to develop the skill levels of
subordinates
