Position: Strategy and Africa Business Manager
Planned, formulated and deployed funding and business development strategic plans for ThornGreen that later became WaSoRe. Provision of the most effective eco/green-based Water, Energy and Agro technological products depending on the needs and Soil Regenerative Technologies to have a circular economic cycle.
We support the Within Foundation who provide a sustainable supply of clean drinking water. Their primary methods include the implementation of modern infrastructure such as 'Within Alpha Wellspring', Water Dams, and Water Purification Plants. The technology utilizes specialized satellite technology to locate "Alpha Water" veins, a water source believed to be mostly uncontaminated. Precise drilling locations and depths are determined based on these findings, typically around 2,000 meters below the surface.

oCompleted 9 impact assessment evaluations in 2018 for multiple Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) after policy changes and 3 monitoring Business Advocacy evaluation reports. These case studies highlighted the important role dialogue and advocacy play in sustainable economic development. Some involved
Warehouse Receipt System: A well-implemented warehouse system can reduce post-harvest losses and enhance farmers' ability to raise finance secured on produce not yet sold.
Reform of the Seed & Plant Varieties Act: has made a big difference to farmers by allowing an easier approval system for new plant varieties.
Creating a Veterinary Medicines Directorate: and separating the regulation of veterinary medicines and human medicines.
Reforming tax on the local manufacture of pesticides: to avoid the perverse discrepancy that imported pesticides were cheaper simply because they were taxed less.
Cooperative policy & legislation: KUSSCO aimed to avert proposals to amend legislation ahead of the adoption of a new national cooperatives policy.
Kenya National Chamber of Commerce Vihiga: enabling county revenue-raising legislation: This was the first of many successes to persuade county legislatures to put in place the appropriate legislation to raise revenue.
The commercial law bench-book: An effective means of ensuring that judges are all aware of the law relating to commerce so that they can apply it more consistently.
Kenya Association of Manufacturers: Impact of licensing reforms on doing business and competitiveness in Kenya which led to the elimination of 315 regulatory requirements.

Driving a digital transformation network with ArtinTech, we deal with issues around low performance, slow work processes, high cost of operations, difficulty in communication processes, and human errors, among others. We even help those who are still using Excel files or depend on printing paper forms in their current process flows via a cloud-based Enterprise Resouce Planning software. In addition, we offer competitive solutions, including Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity, business process management modules to drive automation as well as predictive analytical modules to provide insight for proper decision-making.
For Toyota Motor North America Inc., the Lexus Design Awards 2020 offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that captivate the imagination with exceptional design dubbed ‘Design for a better tomorrow’. The outcome was a smart design that produced an economically and financially sustainable water and energy harvesting unit with quality and purification aspects.
Involved in the planning, development and implementation of a digital fundraising campaign for a local educational funding mechanism. Provided and implemented strategic plans in phases to ensure economic sustainability moving forward.
The current director of Consolidated Water Company Limited searching for the most efficient way to save costs for a community development water project by seeking ways to reduce repair and maintenance costs as well as the addition of new members. I was involved in fundraising, conflict resolution, operations, procurement and end-to-end project management for major borehole and tank repairs as well as regular financial reporting. I created various company policies that brought objective best practice standards in operations and cost improvement e.g. fee structure, digital transformation strategy, operational strategy, etc.
Developing solutions to enhance performance, maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
e.g. created an automated bookkeeping and reporting workbook for a savings and investment group. This enabled ease of notification and reporting by having an established group of rules and regulations.

Position: Senior Data Analytics Risk Manager
Drove continued shift in culture so that one line owns the timely closure of findings via weekly reporting to different necessary stakeholders.
Improved reporting integrity/consistency through the implementation of data validation techniques and formula checks.
Managed the production of GECA reports timely and accurately, from risk management repositories such as Metric Stream (MS) and other data warehouses all while driving data quality directly with all the relevant stakeholders. Shortened the timeline for delivery of these reports by use of Excel macros.
Participated in the integration of the mapped business processes, activities, risks and controls into MS. Involved in the development of key risk indicators and key performance indicators.
Increased the insightfulness of issue management reporting with data mining and scrubbing techniques to aid in the creation and development of year-over-year risk profile dashboards, root cause analysis of issues closed past due, and fieldwork coverage based on the risk review calendar.
Developed a simplified regression testing method for checking the data integrity of thousands of individual values after each system patch. This was adopted by IT in quality assurance.
Effectively managed a remote team by creating and maintaining the capacity, timeliness and error rate metrics which expanded the issue management and data sampling capabilities of the team.
Introduced process simplification and team productivity by reducing the hours needed to generate a full set of a report by 51%, allowing for increased/improved reporting and sampling support by the remote outsourced team – use of the team’s capacity increased to 97%, while timeliness of deliverables was increased to 98%.
Leveraged best-in-class models for sampling, reporting and analytics processes, systems, and deliverables as compared to other regulated companies.
Crafted a handbook / Standard Operating Procedure for an efficient and effective statistically valid risk-based sampling of business data sets that were adopted by other lines of business.
Performed analysis/segmentation of the entire data universe for multiple lines of businesses, to centralize sampling and make it easier to identify risks and execute reviews.
Maintained the GECA Risk Review calendar to optimize fieldwork coverage for over 269 reviews.

Designed, built and managed internal business enterprise risk and control tests by employing project management techniques. Successfully managed the testing of business IT risk management controls such as Access Administration, Access Recertification, Capacity Planning, Change Control, Data Backup, Data Confidentiality, External Network Connectivity, Incident and Problem Management, Information Retention, Privileged Access, Production Monitoring, Project Assurance, Business Resiliency, Security Configuration, Technology Asset Management, Vendor/Third Party Oversight and User Developed Business Application Management and Governance.
Designed, developed, and documented bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and semi-annual reports with Risk management repositories (Archer, Phoenix and Business Objects) to aid in decision-making, e.g. time-based reports, quality assurance reports and productivity reports.
