As a Quality Management Specialist, I perform assessments in food safety, brand protection, guest satisfaction,
operational excellence and product quality. I am responsible for providing training on a range of topics that include
Food Code standards, client specific brand standards, personal hygiene practices, and issues related to food borne
illnesses. I also perform trend analysis to identify problematic areas and develop activities that will produce positive
outcomes.
January 2008 –June 2014 Supervisory Physical Science Technician Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA
As a Supervisory Physical Science Technician my responsibilities were to execute performance management duties for
subordinates per instructional material in accordance with established requirement s of NAVSEA and local radiological
control instruction. I investigated and monitored radiological control operations for naval nuclear vessels ensuring local
and state laws regarding environmental safety were strictly enforced by performing Operational Risk Management
walkthroughs and daily analysis. I was directly responsible for recruiting, selecting, and developing high quality
employees. I also formulated and developed basic and specialized training programs using adult learning theologies, to
meet the objective of radiological controls without compromising the standards and expectations of the Naval Nuclear
