Objective I am seeking an exciting position in Quality/Manufacturing with a fast-paced
company where I can use my analytical skills to solve issues that may arise in
the manufacture of quality products.
Professional Production Quality
H ighlight Responsible for the investigation and identification of root causes of
s manufacturing issues in the production of complicated Endovascular devices.
This was accomplished using current Good Manufacturing Practices and a
thorough understanding of root cause analysis tools.
Worked with a cross-functional team to write reports documenting the root
cause and possible solutions to determined issues.
Determined conformance to Quality Specifications when possible non-
conformances exist. At times, making decisions on intent of verbiage
described in documentation.
Data and trend Analysis
Took charge of monitoring the quality of manufactured product by reviewing
the results of quality conformance testing. Ran weekly meetings to discuss
possible adverse trends in the manufacture of ten different product lines with
Quality Engineering group.
Used data analysis software to evaluate Control limits needed to alert shifts in
the manufacturing process.
Requested by management to be part of a team to review data and make a
change to the monitoring frequency of a product line, which saved thousands
of dollars in product scrapped for testing. This was accomplished through
evaluation of data to find the right level of inspection required to maintain the
highest level of quality assurance.
Production Line Transfer Team Member
Changed language and format in documentation from a manufacturing plant
overseas to comply with Quality System format documentation requirements.
The product line was successfully transferred within the timeline required and
all quality assurance was maintained.
Assisted with the evaluation of product quality before full production was
executed. This involved the set-up of control limits and comparison of test
data between the product manufactured over-seas and that manufactured
locally. No performance issues were found.
Documented the tasks needed for the transfer of the production lines by
working with the Quality Systems group to map out the required steps.
New Product line Team Member
Created new documentation used in the manufacture of an improved product.
This was accomplished by modifying existing documents such as Failure
Modes and Effects Analysis worksheets and working with a cross-functional
team including Senior Management to meet design transfer timelines.
