production, quality and manufacturing team.
. Collect, map, understand and intelligently discuss product
requirements and regulations with suppliers in United States and
different countries like China, South Korea.
. Track defective products from the manufacturing line and identify
issues related to poor manufacturing process. Provide guidelines for
implementation of corrective actions at supplier end.
. Collect information from different sources and update MES and ERP
system.
. Direct the non-confirming material as scrap, use as is, rework or
return to vendor depending on the issue.
. Investigate issues at production line with root cause analysis of the
issue and possible solution.
. Assist supplier quality engineer to understand and learn the
responsibilities involved such as initiating root cause analysis,
talking to line side supervisor for better clarification, come up with
possible solutions in shortest time and implementing the best possible
solution making sure the issue is resolved to keep production line
affected for shortest amount of time.
. Issue SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) and follow up with the
supplier for containment of non-confirming material at line or
warehouse.
. Communicate with supplier over phone or in person for supplier defect
parts and process those parts to RTV (Return to Vendor), write RTV PO
(Purchase Order) for reimbursement (over $42,000 parts returned in
less than a month).

machines etc.
. Applied my skills to determine process capability as a part of
statistical process/quality control for all the machines on shop
floor.
. Successfully executed project involving root cause analysis with
processes, manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting with possible
solution to improve efficiency and increase production & also to
resolve day to day production concerns.

Control Plan), SWI (Standardized Work Instruction), PFD (Process Flow
Diagram) and Standard Hour Calculation.
Internships/Projects:
Graduate Project:
Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona
January 2014-May 2014
. Designing and optimizing mileage and cost of a hybrid vehicle with a
combination of diesel engine and electric motors with regenerative
braking system.
. In the US there has been a large effort to move away from foreign oil.
Legislation has been passed stating that by 2025 all vehicles must
achieve 54mpg, thus we proposing a system that will incorporate a
diesel hybrid with hope to satisfy at least a group goal of 40 mpg for
current date. Our group understands that the technology is only
improving and we hope to use much of the research being conducted to
improve battery life and performance, moreover a cleaner diesel
engine. Our team has decided on the requirements and we will begin CAD
drawings and trade studies of the different packages that can be
merged with hopes to create an optimal system. It is important to
state that this project will only be pursued to the preliminary design
because of time constraints and the project is more of a research
development.
Undergraduate Project:
