process data for cash activity transactions related to assets, Foreign

exchange,Advisory fees, Asset management fees, Custody/administration

fees, Stock transfers

Research/analysis fees etc.The objective of this project is to create a new

data warehouse (CRS) for The Bank of New York Mellon Customers. The new

data warehouse CRS (Customer Reporting System) is developed by sourcing

data from two systems.

. Legacy Bank of New York data warehouse COD (Custody Operational Data

warehouse)

. Heritage Mellon custody and accounting systems CMS (Custody Management

System) and IAS (Institutional Accounting System)

CRS is built to store data necessary for generating drill-down reports

which provide cash & custody data. CRS is now renamed to CIW (Client

Information Warehouse). CIW will initially be populated by only legacy COD

system and will eventually be integrated by Mellon's custody & accounting

source systems.

Responsibilities:

. Creating High Level Design documents and Low Level Design documents

based on requirements

. Done in depth data Analysis to see what kind of data present in source

and how they should to be loaded into the target.

. Involved in Data modelling.

. Created mapping with various type of sources and targets (XML, Flat

MFW (Mutual Funds Data Warehouse) is a Client File Interface application is

providing services for BNYM platinum clients. The application creates file

extracts that are delivered automatically to BNY Mellon internal and

external clients. Currently all data is extracted from the INFORM Custody

database (Sybase). The current information flows to INFORM thru OBR from

the core heritage BNY Custody systems: TAS, ASP, GSP and IMMS. The TAS/ASP

to GSP migration will affect the MFW clients because after migration MFW

client accounts will move from Inform database. To mitigate the client

impact the current information flow will be changed from INFORM to CIW.The

data will flow from GSP, IMMS, CDW, PSS, SMDB to CIW and CIW will load the

data into MFW database.

Responsibilities:
