data warehouse CRS (Customer Reporting System) is developed by sourcing
data from two systems.
. Legacy Bank of New York data warehouse COD (Custody Operational Data
warehouse)
. Heritage Mellon custody and accounting systems CMS (Custody Management
System) and IAS (Institutional Accounting System)
CRS is built to store data necessary for generating drill-down reports
which provide cash & custody data. CRS is now renamed to CIW (Client
Information Warehouse). CIW will initially be populated by only legacy COD
system and will eventually be integrated by Mellon's custody & accounting
source systems.

MFW (Mutual Funds Data Warehouse) is a Client File Interface application is
providing services for BNYM platinum clients. The application creates file
extracts that are delivered automatically to BNY Mellon internal and
external clients. Currently all data is extracted from the INFORM Custody
database (Sybase). The current information flows to INFORM thru OBR from
the core heritage BNY Custody systems: TAS, ASP, GSP and IMMS. The TAS/ASP
to GSP migration will affect the MFW clients because after migration MFW
client accounts will move from Inform database. To mitigate the client
impact the current information flow will be changed from INFORM to CIW.The
data will flow from GSP, IMMS, CDW, PSS, SMDB to CIW and CIW will load the
data into MFW database.
