• Responsible for care of cardiac patients in outpatient cardiac rehab as well as care of members at fitness center.

benefits of fitness and nutrition through educational activities.

n Performed over 350 hours of hands on cardiac rehabilitation work at Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. Learned EKG

rhythm interpretation as well as exercise prescription progression for individuals involved in stage II and III cardiac

rehab. Was one of two students picked for the internship program.

n Received the Heartsaver Hero Award from the American Heart Association, “In recognition of advancing the mission

of the American Heart Association and Emergency Cardiovascular Care through a courageous act in the effort to save

a life”.

TexStar Physical Therapy July 2013-December, 2014

n Shadowed two licensed Physical Therapists and learned about sports, spine, and orthopedic injuries in greater detail.

Also observed McKenzie manual therapy with regards to back specific injuries. After shadowing continued on with

TexStar Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Technician responsible for office work and helping physical

therapists with patient care.

Allen Sports and SpineCare Vista Rehab May 2013-June 2013

n Shadowed a licensed Physical Therapist and learned about patients in rehab for various injuries including shoulder

reconstructions, ACL reconstructions, hip replacement, knee replacement, back and SI joint dysfunctions, as well as

concussion protocol for 110 hours.

TWU Athletics- Event Staff and Student Compliance Coordinator Assistant January 2013-May 2014

n Helped organize and run athletic events for NCAA Division II athletics teams including basketball, soccer, softball,

volleyball, and gymnastics. Main responsibilities included ticket sales and assisting marketing director with duties

involved in the running of the events. Responsible for organization and filing of compliance paperwork of student

athletes and coaches for gymnastics, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball with regards to NCAA Division II

rules and regulations.
