Key Deliverables:

Responsible for the overall Quality control of all the construction activities at the Fabrication yard.

Responsible for all inspections activities at site including incoming material inspection and resolving any problem

arising.

Review of Material Test reports as per PO, PR and Code requirements.

Performed testing of products at specific stages to ensure meeting of quality measurements, including

dimensions & performance.

Read and interpret the engineering drawings and checking the weld joint preparation, fit up, alignment &

dimensional inspection as per drawings. Monitoring all the above mentioned activities closely in order to avoid

any re-work which will affect the project schedule.

Inspected welds for Quality standards and rejected the inferior welds which are not meeting the standard

quality requirements and instructed the welders for corrective actions.

Key Deliverables:

Perform in-process inspection of incoming material (piping and structural), equipment’s (valves) as per Project

Quality Plan, Procedures, Applicable codes, Standards and Specifications.

Attend all inspection activities and witness in housing NDE activities as per client requirements and

Standards.

Review of NDE reports for in house tested materials.

Perform Vendor inspection and approve the materials for shipment purposes.

Ensure closure of any non-conformance reports raised by Client, provide root cause analysis and coordinate with the

Project Management Team.

Responsible for the verification of non-conforming product/process report and take corrective action if necessary .

Product knowledge of piping materials as per International Standard such as ANSI, ASME, ASTM, BS, API etc.

Knowledge of testing STD of piping materials used for oil and gas construction.

Aware of quality STD used by major oil and gas companies such as Shell Global, PDO Oman, Saudi Aramco,

Total, KNPC etc.

All kind of Quality documentations and its maintenance.

Control of quality for piping fabrication such as fit-up, visual and dimensional inspection conforming to

approved for construction drawings.

Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Preventive Action Request (PAR) and initiate Corrective Action for

every violation and out of standard materials supplied by the manufacturer.

Day to day planning and coordinating QA/QC activities, preparing Inspection reports, NDE reports and coordination
