3. Assumed the role of lead design engineer in projects determined by Engineering Manager.

4. Assisted in the evaluation of possible opportunities for development.

Projects/ • ASP.Net Class Projects: Undertook numerous class projects for a course involving learning

ASP.Net. Some examples are as follows: Creating a login system for a user; Analyzing and

Papers

adding/modifying the contents of a table of records; Creating a form that performed complex

mathematical operations on the values inputted by the user for a task.

• The Heisenberg Group: This project dealt with the study of a Heisenberg group which was

basically a family of matrices with special elements. The study involved analysis of centralizers,

center, normal, cosets and the applications of the group.

• Phase Lead Compensator for a Unity Feedback System: This was a design project for an

Engineering Systems Analysis (Control Systems) course. A compensator is a component of a control

system used to improve frequency response in feedback. We learned how to design one based on a

requirements specified by the instructor.

• Value Stream Mapping: This was a study for understanding lean manufacturing techniques and

how it would apply to a specific engineering firm.

• Advanced Linear Programming Modeling and Sensitivity Analysis of a complicated

transportation problem: This project dealt with optimization of a complex transportation problem

using linear programming concepts of duality and sensitivity analysis.

• Head Up Displays (HUDs) Aiding Situation Awareness: This was a human factors project

dealing with understanding of human factors and how that could be used to design better and more

efficient Head Up Displays for a combat pilot.

• Control Engineering Trainer: This project dealt with design of a trainer board implementing P,

P+I and P+I+D control systems.

• Robot Navigation in 3 D world: This project was to formulate an algorithm for navigation for

robots. We came up with the idea of matrices; the robot would divide the area visible (using sensors)

in to a matrix allocating 1s in place of objects and 0s elsewhere, it would then calculate the shortest

path between two points by counting the number of 0s in the matrix.

• Gun Turret Positioning System: A system for autonomous turret orientation based on

acquisition of target coordinates was formulated using control system concepts.

• Missiles Guided Weapons: This was a study of all major types of missiles and their respective

guidance systems. It was aimed to inform the reader about the development in missile technology.
