Work carried out on MV Captain La Perouse in 2006on a Nauru to Brisbane trip in the vicinity of the Solomon Island waters. Crane Control House sheared during extreme weather conditions. Erected temporary scaffold (6 containers high) on a rolling deck making allowances for wind shear. Used block and tackle to hoist the Control House from the main deck back into place and re bolted. Reset hydraulic pipes and electrical wiring and tested at sea. Surveyors at Brisbane port ratified the work done. The mentioned crane was passed and used to offload and load containers.

Work carried out on MV Captain Wallis in 2009 at Christchurch Harbor (NZ). Forward ship hatch cover hoisted in rolling seas damaging forward ship shell. Replaced damaged hull plate (at 30 degrees angle). Lug welded onto replacement plate with lead rope attached and secured to the main deck.
