windows, skylights, store fronts, and display cases, and on surfaces, such as building fronts,

interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops. Read and interpreted blueprints and specifications to

determine size, shape, color, type, and thickness of glass, location of framing, installation

procedures, and staging and scaffolding materials that were required. Fabricated and installed

metal sashes and moldings for glass installation, using aluminum or steel framing, depending

on what was required. Ordered materials and contacted sub-contractors when needed.

ProDesign Inc., Astoria,NY (1998-2000)

Did wall and floor tiling, laid tiles of ceramics, mosaic and natural stone on walls. Measured

the area to be tiled and calculated the minimum number of tiles required. Removed any

existing covering and prepared surfacing, as well as cut tiles to fit around walls and other areas

with obstacles.

Responsibilities include performing multi-faceted duties in a family residential building,

minor plumbing, minor electrical, tiling, repair and rebuilding, handling waste, mopping and

polishing the lobby floors, and attending tenants needs when they are having a problem in their

apartment. I was the super here for 6 years and kept the building in excellent condition. Not

only had I developed excellent skills throughout that time, but I had built trusted relationships

with the tenants that occupy the building, as well as the neighborhood as a whole.
