Responsible for the oversight of all operations of the Career Transition
Department for the Delaware Valley Job Corps. Created and executed the Career
Transition Services training program for all CTS Staff. Successfully hired,
trained, supervised, motivated, and disciplined all Career Transition Staff in the
NYC offices resulting in a dramatic increase in overall production and ranking of
the Delaware Valley Placement Contract. Provided oversight of all services for
students separating from Delaware Valley Job Corps and residing in the States of

Glenmont Job Corps January 2009 – August 2012
• Admissions/Career Transition Services Manager (10/11 –8/12)
Responsible for the hiring, training, supervision, motivation, and discipline of the
Glenmont Job Corps Admissions/Career Transition Staff. Set production goals
for OA/CTS staff utilizing information obtained from analyzing JCRL reports.
Held staff accountable for achieving targeted goals. Accountable for maintaining
the integrity of the contract ensuring all potential enrollees are eligible to
participate in the Job Corps program and all submitted placements are in
accordance with Department of Labor policies and standards.
• Career Transition Readiness Instructor (08/10 – 7/11)
Developed, implemented, and delivered a dynamic Career Transition Readiness
curriculum in accordance with DOL and company policies. Utilized employers,
educational programs, and community resources to help students prepare for
success after separation from the Job Corps Program.
• Career Transition Specialist (8/09 - 8/10, 7/11 - 10/11)
Provided post enrollment services to students assigned to the upstate New York
caseload. Assisted students with achieving their goals including, employment in
their field of training, college admission, or military enlistment. Repeatedly
exceeded expected production goals in direct placement, graduate placement, job
trade matches, wage, and positive follow up survey goals. Developed meaningful
relationships with local employers resulting in positive contract outcomes.
• Residential Advisor (1/09 – 8/09)
Responsible for creating a positive learning centered student culture for a dorm
servicing 125 underprivileged youth. Provided effective counseling and advice
to students on dorm regarding attitude, behavior, hygiene, and employability
standards. Maintained a clean, safe, and organized dorm. Prepared and ran
dormitory meetings in absence of the dormitory supervisor. Assisted the dorm
counselor in creating success plans for new program inputs. Documented student
progress through monthly anecdotes. Provided CPR/First aid training for both
Job Corps staff and students.
Capital District YMCA June 1999 - December 2008
• Aquatics Director
Planned, developed, and organized a full range of aquatic programs for a
15,000 member facility. Hired, trained, and supervised a staff of 60
including, lifeguards, and program instructors. Balanced aquatic programs to
meet budgetary and revenue goals. Provided new employee orientation and
instructed all health and safety training of all branch staff. Responsible for
writing and implementing emergency response plans for the Greenbush area
branch. Revaluated existing and implemented new aquatic programs to
better serve the Greenbush Area YMCA membership.
