Duties: Responsible for production and branch administration for an eighteen branch commercial banking

region. Had 165 employees, $500,000,000 in deposits and annual loan production in excess of

$130,000,000. The commercial loan portfolio exceeded $250,000,000. Responsible for credit approval in

addition to administration. As Vice President/Real Estate, I took over a mediocre real estate unit, added a

more profitable product line, hired additional lenders, added a sales culture and took them to number one

based on dollars recorded in the Chelan and Douglas County market areas within six months. Other

Positions Held: VP/Real Estate Lending Manager, VP/Production and Sales Manager.

• February 1992 to August 1994: PNC Mortgage/Sears Mortgage Corporation in Seattle, Washington

Position: AVP/Branch Manager then Area Manager

Duties: At the time I left I was responsible for four offices of PNC Mortgage in the Seattle Market where I

managed 25 loan officers and a 12 person operations staff. Annual production was in excess of

$100,000,000.

• August 1988 to February 1992: Pacific First Bank in Seattle, Washington and Salem, Oregon

Positions held: AVP/Residential Lending Manager for Pacific First Bank in Salem, Corvallis, Eugene,

and Albany, Oregon. Was promoted and moved to Seattle where I was AVP/CRE Lender for the Builder

Banking Department. Originated a builder banking portfolio which included residential development,

construction and custom construction loans. Became the top producer within six months. Brought six of

the top builders and developers in the Seattle area into the Bank.

• June 1987 to August 1988: Thunderbird Bank in Phoenix, Arizona

Position: VP/Residential Lending Manager

Duties: Started a real estate department for Thunderbird Bank. Was a member of asset and liability

management committee and credit committee for all commercial and residential loans.

• October 1985 to June 1987: Southwest Savings and Loan in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona

AVP/Real Estate Lending Manager of Central and Southern Regions

Duties: Managed staff of 18 in Phoenix and 9 in Tucson in the origination of portfolio and investment

quality real estate loans. I took my Tucson team from 23rd in the market to 2nd in the market based on the

Sykes Report mortgage recordings. I was promoted to manage the largest market for the association in

Phoenix. This unit averaged $120,000,000 per year in production under my guidance.

Summer 1980 then May 1981 to October 1985 Norwest Bank in Sioux Falls and Rapid City, South

Dakota

Positions Held: Management Trainee, Real Estate Loan Officer

Duties: After completing management training including one year of credit training and commercial

lending training, I was placed as a Real Estate Loan Officer to originate residential and commercial real

estate loans. In addition, I administered the real estate collection efforts for Norwest’s $200,000,000 real

estate servicing portfolio. At Norwest Bank I was the number one originator of real estate loans for Norwest

in South Dakota for the three quarters prior to my employment with Southwest Savings.
