OnAssignment / MenuPad.com January – August 2014

Technical Writer assignment with a new software company through OnAssignment. Company contracted

me to create and write support documentation for new product line. Created a web based knowledge

base and support site with Confluence online. I worked with the iOS and Python development teams

in the early stages of Agile/Scrum methodology implementation. I set up projects, Sprints and

workflows in JIRA for the remote and local teams to use together. This team was working toward XP

programming to allow the two teams to work together.

Business Analyst / Scrum Master / Product Owner

VectorLearning / RedVector 2008 2013

2

Business Analyst, Scrum Master and Product Owner in an Agile/SCRUM development environment for SaaS

company. The custom learning management system was in continuous development with requirements and projects

from both internal and external client needs. The team was developing XP Agile methodology. My position required

documentation, instruction and interaction with all levels and departments to collect requirements, break down the

business requirements into software requirements and into a plan for development. This plan was conveyed to the

stakeholders to manage expectations and complete the project within SCRUM organized sprints.

I served as Scrum Master and developed training for the developers on Agile/SCRUM process and helped

implement the process within the team. I also trained new hires to the team on the process and later trained Scrum

Masters for the team to grow and cross train.

I created documentation for software development and technical manuals and training materials for the end users

for all new features developed.

Project Manager / IS Director – Care2Learn.com 2004 2008

My responsibilities included everything computer related for this small and growing company. I performed all end

user level computer support and created an inventory system to track all computer equipment purchased for the

company and the employees. I hired and managed contract developers for projects and maintenance of the

company’s SaaS learning management system. I documented all requirements and changes made by the system

and who made them. I moved the company from a shared hosting environment to their own web server, database

server and email servers prior to their purchase by RedVector in 2008.

Project Manager / Director of Operations ExitNow 2001 2004

Project Manager for web development company. I was the lead project manager for the company’s largest client.

When the founders moved on to other projects, I took over operations and worked with the president to continue

until 2004 when she closed the doors. Responsibilities included server maintenance, accounting and development

project management.
