Responsible for providing the customer interface for all Motorola/Continental delivered modules

Perform suitcase test verification of modules, vehicle testing, containment and sorting activities as

needed.

Follow up on 5P, 8D, FMEA’s and other open issues to ensure timely resolution and closure.

Effectively negotiate with the customer to reduce number of PR&R’s (Problem Report &

Resolución).

Participate in weekly quality meetings with Silao SQA’s.

Provide support for PTRs (product trial runs).

Understand reasons for PR&R issuance.

Leader for all sorting activities.

Daily duties and Responsibilities:

One hour response to plant with any failures or issues.

Check the GMM Silao scrap report (e-mail) to ensure any charges against Continental are

accurate.

Check Door Line, Panel Line, Scrap tables and Incoming Inspection Cage for any rejected

modules.

Ensure daily communication is established with SQA, Seglo, Packing Cage, technicians and

operators on 1st. and 2nd shift to address any quality concerns.

Understand GP-5 requirement and other GM standards.

Responsible for reintroducing and tracking recycled modules.

Talk to the coordinators and review daily reports and from the Door Line, PTT, DVT, Dark Room

and Care Line.

Understand and investigate reasons for quality rejects and help identify improvement

opportunities at Motorola’s/Continental’s and Silao’s process.

Manage suitcase testers & tester maintenance.
