Implemented the commissioning of DCS configuration, tuning, and functional

testing for EPC contract and specification requirements. Provided

functional direction and supervision to DCS Commissioning engineers,

technicians, and craft personnel. Maintained a safe, healthy, and

Franklin, TX: Foxboro Infusion. Mark VI turbine controls. Both Unit 1 and

Unit 2

Completed project ahead of schedule and under budget. Won Power Magazine's

"Power Plant of the Year Award."

Implemented testing procedures on 2 Super-Critical boilers, (CE and B&W).

Ensured that all interfaces and communication logics conformed to Fieldbus,

Mudbugs, and Profibus protocols. Developed control strategies, performance

Lead DCS Engineer

Contracted through NESC to Black & Veatch

Joined a commissioning team that was behind schedule. Assumed the lead

position and implemented changes to accommodate the plant design

requirements to successfully recover the commissioning schedule. The

control system was a Fieldbus, Modbus and Profibus design for electrical

and I & C.

Provided technical support for night shift control room operations on

system logic control. Conducted DCS configuration changes and directed

testing to verify functionality.

Green Earth Fuels Bio Fuel Project, Houston, TX: 2 Unit Bio Diesel,

Glycerin and Methanol Recovery Process, Ovation XP DCS.

Managed a commissioning DCS and I&C team to fully functionally test and

automate sequence controlled configuration. Conducted DCS configuration

changes and verified subsystem performances to specification requirements

to validate plant performance. During plant performance runs the facility

produced the highest grade bio diesel ever produced.

2006-2007

Reid Gardner Station: Phase II DCS upgrade to Unit #4 FGD and Phase III

Boiler DCS and Oil/Gas Conversion with a ROFA System.

DCS Engineering Consultant

Contracted thru Bluewater Energy Solutions

Performed FAT test for design verification and managed commissioning of DCS

and I&C checkout for the phase II upgrade of the Unit IV FGD scrubber

system. Continued on as a consultant to engineering and conducted

commissioning for Phase III retrofit of the boiler, power block and the

conversion from oil to gas and the addition of a ROFA system. Supported

outages on Units I, II, III oil to gas and suet blowing system upgrades.
