Responsible for the production, distribution, and warehousing of all
goods. Other responsibilities included the managing/training of
personnel, monitoring workloads to determine where additional
help may be required, and to provide a safe work environment.
2007 - 2012
Buyer - DSG, Inc. (Dynamic Seal & Gasket)
Responsible for the purchasing of gasket, hydraulic, and engine parts
from numerous suppliers (Domestic & International)
Re-organized warehouse operations for a more efficient way to process
customer orders.
Other duties included customer liaison on order discrepancies,
working with freight forwarders on in-bound shipments,
receiving, and Quality Control.
1995 - 2006
Senior Buyer - PEVCO/Hercules Bulldog Sealing Products.
Responsible for $4.0 million dollars of inventory, and 5,000+ part
numbers.
Managed two Buyers, and one Expediter.
Worked directly with the Engineering Department on new product
development.
Identified products/product families for potential unit cost
reduction.
Helped establish additional tools needed to facilitate the ordering
and expediting process.
Other responsibilities included the purchasing of gasket materials,
dieboards, and other materials needed for the Production
Department.

Buyer
Responsible for the ordering and expediting of product from generated
reports.
Scheduled release quantities with ETA's based on usage.
Evaluated current suppliers on lead time, costs, and timely delivery
of product.
Researched and approved alternative suppliers for products and
services.
Worked with the Sales Department on items needed to fulfill customer
orders.
Production Department
Responsible for the creation and closing of production work orders.
Set priorities for work orders based on inventory shortages and
customer demands.
Responsible for the preparation of material, dieboards, and press set-
up of each work order.
Prioritized jobs based on work order quantity, like
materials/thicknesses, and size of dieboards for multiple
production runs on each press.
Production Control
Assisted the Warehouse Manager in all areas of operation.
Opened and closed production work orders.
Responsible for the closing of Quality Control paperwork, which
physically put inventory "on hand".
Aided the Production Supervisor with request of materials and
equipment. Assisted in Receiving, Quality Control, Production,
and Shipping when these areas were overloaded.
Warehouse Worker
Worked with the Branch Manager on customer order entry, and counter
sales.
Received product, prepared product for inventory, stocked product,
pulled customer orders, packed and shipped customer's orders.
