Description:

The idea behind this project is to fully automate the home appliances. This project is mainly divided in two

sections:-master and slave unit.

Slave unit is mainly used in different areas such as rooms in home and offices which is connected to different

devices. This unit is in turn communicated to the master unit wirelessly using zigbee from there it is getting

commands and acknowledging device status to the master unit.

Master unit is connected to the different slave unit via zigbee. The main work of this unit is to collect:-

a) The data from the all slave unit.

b) To rout the command to the specific slave unit on network for controlling the devices.

This unit is in turn connected to the network so that we can able to control the devices from the internet

through the web interface.

The GUI is designed in the HTML language so that we can access the device from the any web enabled devices.

Project 3: SHORT MESSAGE REMOTE AUTHENTICATION FOR USER ACCESS

Description:

This is concept based product in which there is a GSM enabled access control keypad lock, this lock is overall

controlled and managed by remote admin and authorized user whose mobile numbers are registered in

device.

Whenever the authorized user needs the access, user informs the admin, the admin should sent an SMS to

device and the user mobile which will be four digit one time password(OTP). Once sent, this password will be

valid only for few min of time. User can reach the GSM lock; enter his/her User-id and the password to get the

access. The user-id and entering time are stored in EEPROM. If user not entered in given time or after enter

OTP, the set password will be automatically expired. This product can be used in home security, locker

security, server rooms etc.
