Reads blueprints or specifications to plan sequences of operations for

fabricating or repairing dies. Performs preventative maintenance on

stamping dies according to standardized procedures and on dies between

production runs. Troubleshoots die performance in stamping press to

resolve or enhance form-ability issues and correct quality issues on the

press line. Able to weld and hand grind tool steels to meet die

specifications. Supports tryouts of new dies in press line equipment.
