I am a U.S. Army School trained Mechanic with over 23 years of experience

2010-2011: AH-64D Phase Team Mechanic, L-3 Vertex CFS
Part of phase maintenance team for 8 U.S. Army AH-64D Longbow Apache attack
helicopters to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft.

Supervised 56 soldiers in the repair and inspection of Eight AH-64D rotary
wing aircraft in accordance with applicable Technical Manuals/ Orders and
company policies. Coordinate with Production Control on maintenance
schedules, daily status and mission requirements. Maintained records to
accurately report aircraft status and aircraft history. Maintained a log of
approved requests for controlled exchange, and cannibalization. Responsible
for the accurate reporting of aircraft assigned to Company Commander, and
Production Control. Performed Battle Damage assessments and repairs in
accordance with US Military standards. Inspect aircraft to ensure Quality
Control standards are meet.
2007-2008: U.S. Army Recruiter, Tulsa Oklahoma, US Army
Contacted, interviewed, and advised civilian personnel to obtain qualified
applicants for enlistment into the Army. Contacted representatives of
schools, public officials, personnel managers, parents of prospective
applicants, religious and civil leaders, and others to present the Army as
an employment and career opportunity. Presented formal and informal talks
on advantages of the Army at civic and service organizations and student
bodies.
2004-2007: Maintenance Coordinator/Instructor, US Army
Instructed soldiers on the proper maintenance of AH-64D Longbow Apache, to
include removal and installation of subcomponents and major systems.
Trained soldiers on the proper use of forms and records, to include the
proper use of Technical Manuals, forms and records. Served as the Liaison
between Army training personnel and Boeing personnel for maintenance issues
to be performed on Aircraft to minimize impact on training.
2003-2004: Maintenance Advisor to the Egyptian Air Force Egypt, US Army
Provided AH-64 subject matter expert level advice and training to three
Squadrons of Egyptian Air Force personnel on AH-64 maintenance techniques
and procedures. Trained Soldiers on proper use of forms & records,
scheduled & unscheduled maintenance, as well as everyday flight line
operations.
2002-2003: Platoon Sergeant / Quality Control Inspector / Quality Control

Supervised 23 soldiers in the repair and inspection of 24 AH-64 rotary wing
aircraft in accordance with applicable Technical Manuals/ Orders and
company policies. Coordinate with Production Control on maintenance
schedules, daily status and mission requirements. Perform Battle Damage
assessments and repairs in accordance with US Military standards. Inspect
aircraft to ensure Quality Control standards are meet, (see job description
below for more information on Quality Control).
1996-2002: Quality Control Inspector, US Army
Technical Inspector for 24 AH-64's, 8 UH-60's, and 12 OH-58D's in which the
job duties were; Examined airframe, engines, and operating equipment to
ensure that repairs are made according to specifications, and certifies
airworthiness of aircraft: Tests tightness of airframe connections with
handtools and employs flashlight and mirror to inspect fit of parts.
Examined assembly, installation, and adjustment of various aircraft systems
to ensure that work and materials conform to appropriate Army Regulations,
company specifications, and manual procedures. Determined accuracy of
installation of components in power plant and hydraulic system with
protractor, micrometer, calipers, and gauge to ensure that specified
tolerances are met. Signs inspection tag to approve unit, or records
reasons for rejecting unit. Logs inspections performed on aircraft.
Reviewed aircraft Historical records, log book entries, and W&B for
accuracy. Extensive use and knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management
System (TAMMS) to include Aviation unit level and Intermediate level
maintenance processes and procedures. Used Historical records, 2410
information, and applicable manuals to determine overhaul and retirement
life of tracked components.
1993-1996: Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Phase Team Leader, US Army
Supervised 20 soldiers in the phase maintenance and unscheduled repair of
48 AH-64 Apache aircraft including, flight control rigging, fuel cell
replacement, power train overhaul and airframe modifications. Performed
airframe structural repair of crash and battle damaged aircraft.
