Project & Environment: Currently I am managing and leading the Small Group Enterprise Enrollment & Renewals

project in the New Development Center with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Texas headquarters located at Richardson,

Texas. The small group renewals application is currently renewing 10 billion dollars business each year. The Small

Group Renewals project is being developed using e-commerce technologies like JAVA 1.6, JSP,JSF, XML, J2EE, AJAX,

Struts, Spring, Web sphere, MQ Series, MQ Workflow 3.4 and JDBC SQL Server 2008 for company’s producers to

renew the small group business on-line at the due anniversary date. Below are my some of responsibilities on the

project:

● Leading and Managing the URE-Renewals Integration project for affordable health care reforms act of 2014

(ACA) and transition policy in continuation to the grand fathered and transition plans for two more years until

2016 under the Obamacare act’s most recent mandate.

● Managing a large size development team of 24 resources including 14 high performing java engineers, 2

automated testers, 2 database administrators, 3 Business analysts, 2 cognos reports developers and a scrum

master. Managing and leading onshore blue cross employees and 3 rd party offshore development teams.

● Reporting directly to the senior application manager/ executive director on daily basis. Showed accountability,

ownership, dedication, responsibility and high quality on the project.

● Conducting daily touch point meetings with the business stakeholders. Partnering and Build relationship with

Project & Environment: Worked on Business Acquisition project’s Automated Medical Underwriting (AMU), Service

module component, Single Rating engine/ultimate rating engine(URE), and Renewals for the small groups. The

Business Acquisition project is developed using JAVA 1.6, JSP, XML, J2EE, AJAX, Struts, Spring, Hibernate,

WebSphere, MQ Series, MQ Workflow 3.4 and JDBC SQL Server 2008 for company’s Agents and Producers to sell

insurance products online. Below were my responsibilities on the enrollment project at BCBSTX:

● Worked on the URE-Enrollment Integration project for affordable health care reforms act (ACA) related to the

NGEN project as the team lead. Demonstrated a good lead role on the URE-Enrollment 2014 Project. The

project was delivered within the timeframe with the highest QA quality and without any issues. Has

successfully lead and delivered the URE enrollment integration project to be on-time to support the open

enrollment starting mid November 2013.

● Participated and provided the accurate estimation of user story points. Broke down the stories in smaller tasks

as much as possible. Created the system stories as needed. Provided a good feedback to the scrum retrospect

meetings which were held after the each scrum sprint iteration.

2000 database for storing the business scenario and test cases information. Created JDBC connections to the

database.

Project & Environment: Worked as Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer consultant with Southwest Airlines

Co. Worked on Turbo/ticketless airlines reservation system being developed using IBM Web sphere 4.0, MQ-Series

server, Oracle 8i database, JAVA/SDK 1.3.1 with J2EE enterprise architecture. My responsibilities were:

● Study and analyze the software requirements mentioned in Use cases, Program Use cases, Business Rules

documents, Program supplementary documents, SRS, FRS and BRDs for Iteration

● Release 1 using Rational RequisitePro.2. Raise and open the discussions with analysts and implementers using

RequisitePro Tool.

● Verify the requirements if they are testable or not.

● Freeze the requirements after validating and tracing them to and from the SFSs.

● Write test cases for all Use Cases requirements analyzed in RequisitePro using Rational's test manager tool.

Project & Environment: NaynaWave Manager (NWM) - The aim of the NaynaWaveä Manager (NWM) application

was to implement network management tools that will manage all Nayna proprietary photonic switches in a network,

display links & nodes and other relevant information on a map, and view nodal information and routing characteristics.

nRS - a web-enabled reporting application. I worked as nRS and NWM Project Test Lead, Clearquest Defect Tracker

Administrator, SCM ClearCase Administrator and Secretary to Change Control Board (CCB).

● Deployed & Installed rational ClearCase and ClearQuest regular client & web interface at company’s both

sites in Richardson, TX and Milpitas, CA.

● Created NWM & nRS test plans, LLTCs and system test cases, test scripts, test procedures, test scenarios.

Derived test cases from Use Cases and traditional System Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Functional

Requirement Specifications (FRS).

● Wrote test plan components like test strategy, testing types, test tools, resources including hardware, software,

ClearCase source control.
