Responsibilities

I had to helped Ms. Jacqueline by changing her diaper, fix her hair, and making sure she took her medication.

I would also do minor house work such as sweeping the floor, fixing her pillows, change her clothes, clean

kitchen. I also had to serve her breakfast, lunch and dinner. If she needed me to run a few errands to local

stores I would.

Accomplishments

I loved helping her with the things she needed since she is a very sweet lady.

Skills Used

She liked my cooking. She would asked me to make different types of food for her.

Waitress

Responsibilities

I had to server breakfast, lunch and dinner to the residents of the retirement home. Had to make sure the food

I was serving them was warm by the time I had to serve it to them. Making sure they weren't allergic to the

good that was being server that certain day. In the morning I would place their orange juice and water on their

tables so they would drink something as soon as they came in. I also made coffee for everyone the workers,

residents and family members. I also had to do cleaning duties such as changing table cloths and silver wear.

Setting up both the dinning room and the private dinning room for holiday events or birthdays. I would also

help inside the kitchen to prepare food or wash dishes. Clean ice cream machine. Restocking condiments in

and out of the dinning room. Had to refill the condiments and fridge from the bistro. I would also make lists

of things that we needed during the week. I also helped residents and family member to their seats when we

did have the big holiday events. At the end of the day I would re set up the tables and vacuum the dinning

room for the next morning.

Accomplishments

They were very happy with me. The residents loved the way I would pay close attention to their orders. The

way I greeted them with a huge smile. How I would help the cooks and others without them asking me to.

Skills Used

I enjoyed helping them with everything they needed.

Responsibilities

I would attend to customers, place orders and give the right change after each purchase. I would also do

cleaning duties such as cleaning the glass windows, sweep the floor, mop, take out trash, and clean tables. I

would also restock items like condiments and materials needed for everyday use. I would also answer phone

calls for customers who wanted to place orders threw their homes.

Accomplishments

Mr. Roy liked the fact that I would always greet all his customers with a bright smile and a polite manner.

Skills Used

I would use the math I learned from school to good use when it came to give the customers the right change

back when the cash register would stop working at times.

My English and Spanish came handy in times when customers didn't know either one or the other.

Nanny and personal assistant

Responsibilities

I was the nanny for the Moreland family and I took care of her two young children aged 2 and 4. My duties

were feeding the children breakfast and lunch. I also kept to the baby'a nap schedule, pick up after the baby,

fold laundry and tidy up after breakfast and lunch. I also ran errands for the family, dry cleaning, dog walks and

pick some groceries from the local store. Mr. Michael Moreland works for the Los Angeles fire department, the

family decided to move to be closer to work, so I started looking for a part time job in that year.

Accomplishments

I loved how the family treated me as if I was just another family member. They were polite the children were

amazing and I enjoyed working with them.

Skills Used

My two languages I was trying to teach the children a little but of Spanish since Ms. Marie was learning Spanish

and asked me to speak in Spanish with them so they could learn it a bit faster.

Food server

San Clemente, CA - December 2008 to January 2010

Responsibilities

My mother occasionally worked with a catering company at private house parties. I helped her serve food at

these parties, while maintaining the catering company's dress code.

Accomplishments

I learned how to set up tables and silver wear. How to greet the customers, as well as how to direct them

to their tables.

Skills Used

I demonstrated that my bilingual skills came in handy when no manager that spoke both languages was not

around.

Babysitting

San Clemente, CA - April 2002 to November 2009

Responsibilities

I used to babysat for many friends and families over the past years. Duties involved dropping and picking

children up from school. Helping with homework and fixing their snacks.

Accomplishments

I never knew that taking care of many children at a time was fun. They all were happy playing with the other

children that I took care of. They got along well.

Skills Used

I demonstrated that their children were in good hands and they trusted me with their children.
