MyOneClass, Server-side Web Applications

Backend Programmer (of 3 members)

Developed the shopping application MyOneClass, supported by the Apache Tomcat servlet

container and coded in PostgreSQL, Javascript, jQuery, JSON, HTML, and CSS. Designed and created

queries to efficiently fetch and update data for product categories and sales analysis. Experimented

with and incorporated indexes and p recomputed tables in the database to improve performance of

the application.

Smart App Trends, Usability & Information Architecture

Graphic/Web Designer (of 3 members)

Designed Smart App Trends, a website on the latest app trends and targeted towards smart phone

users. Analyzed the top three smart phone user groups: Apple, Android, and Windows users and built the

site using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery. Applied user-friendly components such as a fluid

layout, a fixed navigation bar, and same-page-different-section redirect links.
