I am a Mechanical Design engineering with almost 20 years of engineering job experience with over 10
years in food industry equipment manufacturing. I work with 2D & 3D design using Solid works and
AutoCAD up to 2014 version. My background is in foods temperature control and transportation
equipment, Conveyor design, designing plant layouts, beverage processing machines, and various line
layouts for high pressure extruded food processing machinery, pasteurizing bottle lines and others in
the R&D pilot plant areas. I am in both Product development and Sustaining and improvement of
existing product lines. I have a background in facilities and architectural drawing experience in
electrical, plumbing, HVAC, communications, natural gas layouts. I have strong organization file
management of drawings system and can work with and improve existing filing systems. Able to work
with minimal supervision based on verbal instructions, sketches/notes, or marked up prints. Skilled in
developing drawing changes on existing equipment and office/equipment plant layout. Proficient with
all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook ) with 7 years of Project management
experience. I have 10+ years with sheet metal design, can read blue prints to include P&IDs, electrical
line diagrams, piping layouts, and PLC & controls experience.
Salary Requirements:
$60,000.00 to $70,000.00 a year (depending on distance)
My education:
Associates General Education, Associates Design Engineering Technology, Associates Manufacturing
Design Technology (completing by December 2015). Certifications in Auto CAD, Machinist
Certification. Earned all these while attending McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, Ill.
Served in the US Army for 4 years as a M1A1 tanker and received an Honorable Discharge ( I have
