Shamrock is the food services for dairy products and meat products.
Shamrock Foods Company is distributor of foods and food service products,
serving the Rocky Mountain and the Southwest regions with distributions
canters in Phoenix, Denver and Southern California.
Shamrock project is implemented in AX 2012 warehouse management,
manufacturing and distributions. Developing features for Meat plant
inventory improvement projects on the Inventory and warehouse management
module of AX. Using AIF services on lIS for consumption by external hand-
held mobile devices used by the warehouse personnel.
Responsibilities included:
. Bug fixes for performance issues.
. Wizard development for Receiving and transfers which is similar to
process for mobile hand held device.
. Worked on bug fixes in existing environment.

About WPP MAX
WPP MAX, which might be the biggest implementation project ever done to
customize the Standard Dynamics AX 2012 Product to suit the business
requirements of WPP. It also includes the migration from their old system
Adept to AX 2012. As a part of this project there are a huge number of
customizations done on the standard existing features, and various other
new business features are developed in both Rich client and Enterprise
portal development. Complex workflow configurations are designed to
achieve the same. As a whole this project provides a big solution to suit
the business requirements of over one lakh business users across the
world.
Below, some of the important business features developed/Customized in AX
2012 in both rich client and Enterprise portal in the following
functional areas: Project management and accounting, Account receivables,
Home, Account payables, Human resources, Procurement & Sourcing, Travel &
Expenses and System Administration.
Features developed for this project:
Developed PO creation in Enterprise portal: For this Feature Item
requirements form in Standard AX is developed in Web and named as Create
purchase order. Production related Purchase orders will be created only
from Create purchase order form. Users will select those items, vendors
will be defaulted from vendor quotations or project estimate but those
could be changed before purchase orders are created. Purchase orders will
automatically be created based on vendor /item data from Create purchase
order form. For user flexibility multiple times PO creation is provided
with the same line.
Min/Max Hours setup for timesheets: In this feature we can mention the
minimum and maximum hours per day on weekly basis for submitting
timesheets.
Project setup: In this feature out box functionality has been developed
in EP.
Request for Quote: Existing Rich functionality developed in EP. Along
with vendor search, preferred vendors (for selection of vendors' based on
category) functionality developed in EP.
Timesheet Reopening: As a part of this feature, the posted timesheets are
re-opened and the corrections of the posted ledger entries can be made
within the corresponding financial year.
Project team Assignments: Rich functionality developed in EP. And the
flow has been changed. Assignment of workers and group should be from
client to contract, contract to project requisition and requisition to
project. This functionality is modified in rich and newly developed in
EP.
Agency commission: For this feature developed setup forms in rich and web
forms to achieve the functionality. Commission form developed and
attached to client to define the commission % for each client. The flow
of this feature is similar to standard AX functionality of Indirect
Component. Based on the selection of applicability of commission in
client level and category level commission will be applicable and become
editable.
Team Assignment changes: Category is added to each worker and defaulted
in assign worker form in both Rich and Web. Category should be defaulted
when the project Id is chosen in time sheets and Estimate. Category is
defaulting from either project setup form or position or department.
Quality review:
Dimension prioritization: Based on the setup in GL module dimension
values will be defaulted and if it's blank, it should behave like
standard AX.
Involved in developing CCR and bug fixes for Production purchasing, RFQ,
Revaluation and Revenue Recognition features.
Responsibilities included:
. Customization done on following Axapta Modules: Project management &
accounting, Travel & Expenses, Procurement & Sourcing, General Ledger,
Accounts Payable, Timesheets, Accounts Receivable, Human Resources,

Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 for Discount Management
Project Summary:
The Discount Management Tool was identified as the application to
replace Deal Tracker and Promo Web to support these business needs. The
Deal Tracker tool is used exclusively in NAOC and Promo Web are used in
rest of world. The ability to apply global business rules is limited by the
use of multiple tools and the limitations within these tools to apply more
complex logic. It is also required that the discounting solution be
integrated with the order management solution with a goal to increase the
percentage of untouched orders. The as is process today requires the manual
application of the discount to the order using the discount or promotion
ID.
Roles & Responsibilities:
. Developed new Forms, Tables, EDTs, classes, datasets and web controls
as per the requirement.

(Procurement and Sourcing)
Project Summary:
In Expense management one of the features is called vendor management
features, added new fields of vendors in both AX rich client and web and
done validations on form and table level. According to configuration the
related fields will be shown in Enterprise portal. Created one help link
for the sake of vendors while filling the NVA (New vendor Application)
form. In this project there two work flows one is NVJ (New vendor
Justification) for auto approval and the second one is NVA for creating a
vendor. Created the workflows and need to check the flow accordingly. Live
Id configuration done for the vendors to login from the web.
Roles & Responsibilities:
. Done customizations in both AX Rich client and Enterprise portal,
validations on form and table level and also provide the bug fixing.
. Leading the team on daily activities & reporting to the client on a
daily basis.
. Validations done in table and form, data set level and in Web controls
