Human Resources Manager:
I wish to convey my interest in company positions that may currently be available. A synopsis of my
qualifications and career history is outlined below.
I was most recently employed at Wells Global performing as a Project Engineer / Manager within the
ELD (Electrical Line Distribution) group. The team provided turnkey services for the replacement of aging
infrastructure at major North American airports.
The position was responsible for verification of existing service, generation of new electrical designs
that limited air traffic downtime, selection and ordering of required replacement equipment, site delivery
logistics, weekly FAA update meetings, interfacing with local municipalities/utilities for required permitting, and
coordination with sub contractor partners. My contributions assisted Wells Global in becoming the preferred
st
national IDIQ contractor and elevated the company into the 21 overall position of the fastest growing North
Carolina Mid-Market companies in 2013.
My employment with EnerSys performed as a Sales Engineer for the Eaton Powerware business,
one of three key accounts for the company. The Raleigh branch office generated project specific battery
cost proposals for the DC link within UPS systems and was responsible for all support aspects from initial
quotation to post installation warranty issues.
The application role with Cooper Power Systems functioned as an interface between an international
sales force and a manufacturing engineering department and reported directly to the Product Manager.
Members of the marketing team designed and quoted capacitor bank configurations via detailed customer
specified system requirements.
After the award of an order, the role evolved into an engineering discipline with associated project
management responsibilities. The process often involved coordination of multiple internal product lines and
external vendor partnerships in order to provide seamless solutions for the customer. My tenure with Siemens
was a very similar role supporting a low voltage motor control center product line.
As noted in the associated resume, I have also been employed as a North American Field
Application Engineer for C&D Technologies, Inc. Primary responsibilities were to provide support for all
technical and sales issues involving a DC/DC converter, AC/DC power supply, and Magnetic product line and
function as a company liaison between clients and company design personnel.
The position also provided telephone and website product assistance and performed as the initial
customer interface in resolution of component applications. Additional duties entailed engineering sales
account calls, product training for the business partners, and occasional trade show participation. Other key
roles included providing market feedback in order to define the direction for future product offerings and the
qualification of custom opportunities.
The aforementioned career path has developed experience interfacing with client engineering and
financial decision-makers, utility company personnel, component design teams, and manufacturing facilities
for a diverse offering of electronic and power related product lines/services that should allow for an
abbreviated integration and rapid contribution towards target business goals.
Any additional information you may require in evaluating my application will be promptly supplied and
further correspondence is welcomed. I can be contacted at the phone number or email address listed above.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best Regards,
