. Supervisor (September 2010-Present): along with retaining general

technician duties and team leader duties listed below, responsible for

employee payroll, performance evaluations, scheduling, assisting other

supervisors as needed

. Team Leader (September 2009-Septemeber 2010): assist supervisor in

organizing and prioritizing the work flow for the most efficient

processing, assigning tasks as needed and providing support to

supervisor as needed

. Trainer in the departments of Southern Blotting, Hybridization and

Immunostaining, Development, Results Review, Chemical Dilutions

. Bioplex Department: duties include loading samples into 96 well

plates, adding probes and hybridizing samples with probes, washing

samples, adding fluorescent dye for detection, and adding samples to

the special bioplex machines for signal detection

. Thermocycling Department (PCR): duties include receiving sample from

Pre-PCR department and logging receipt into a database, order checking

samples prior to beginning procedures, hot-starting, initiating

thermocycling program, process monitoring, trouble shooting

. Light Cycler Department: duties include centrifuging sample plates

prior to set up of machine, warming the machine up and selecting the

correct program to run the samples on, sending results to the Pre-PCR

department upon completion

buffer to samples prior to gel loading, gel loading, solution

preparation, process monitoring, trouble shooting, and machine

maintenance

. Hybridization, Immunostaining and Development Department: duties

include preparation and set up of sample membranes for hybridization,

dilution of probes, solution preparation, trouble shooting, machine

maintenance

release to Pre-PCR results review, trouble shooting, ordering of re-

processing of any samples as needed
