Dear Project Manager:
I am writing this letter of application with desires for employment as an
Epic Certified Clinical Transformation Specialist and Build Analyst with
your organization. I have enclosed my resume to give some insight regarding
talents and duties.
In my position with University of Maryland, I streamlined Inpatient
workflows that allowed the Stork EMR team to create integrated build
between seven Epic applications. I worked under strict timelines to
transform the Epic Model system package into a trademarked product that
will transform the way care is given to patients while standardizing
methods of care using Best Practice Modeling. I created build for team
Stork master files to facilitate department workflows, company culture and
clinical policies for providers, nursing, and support staff.
I have created workgroups to task the challenge of making sure that local
system issues and workflow discrepancies were addressed while in the design
phase. Creating these workgroups and tasking them to make sure that we were
ahead of the curve when build notices were submitted and enterprise build
resulted in policy changes for the clinical staff. I was also responsible
with performing unit and integrated testing on build to assure the
functionality was correct from our proof of concept build to the test
build.
Once my assigned build was done I transitioned to the role of Clinical
Operations Strategist to aid Business Operations with a full-scale gap
analysis between system build. This was to determine the amount of decision
revision needed with the additional functionality from the Epic Released
Stork content. Other duties included modifying workflows to reflect Epic
Upgrade build and tasking each application to meet with Business Operations
to verify there was no additional build needed.
I would gracious accept an opportunity to work with the professionals in
this organization. Would you please contact me at the above address or
telephone numbers for any additional information you may require.
Sincerely,
Shelvia D. Stewart
