Lake Data Project – Intern Project (Group of 3):
This project centered around creating an internal webpage based on data collected from Lake Lanier over
the span of 25 years. It was created for students and researchers to be able to see the data in graph and map
format. The webpage was written in Python with the Django web-framework for the backend and
Bootstrap was used for the front end. My role in this project was preparing the data and writing the
database models and views.
GPA and Grade – Solo Project:
This project started life because of a need that I saw other students having in my lower level courses. I
noticed that students who were not in a math or science degree could not calculate their GPA and
individual class grades. This project started as a class project and I finished it once the class requirements
were met. The project was written in Python with the Django web-framework.
UNG Map – Class Project (Group of 3):
This project was created because of a need that new students were having after the merger of Gainesville
College and North GA College to become the University of North GA. During the merger building names
were changed and students who had printed off a schedule only saw building numbers on their schedule.
So we created a webpage that was mobile friendly and had a map focused on each campus, the students
could find themselves on the map and see the building that they needed to get to. My role in this project
started as an equal and creating the initial page and GITHub repository. I also worked on the database
models and initial views. As the project progressed I became the project manager and helped to focus the
others on their strengths for the finished project.

Employment History
8/2013 – Present University of North Georgia – Oakwood, GA
Web Development Internship
The goal of this internship was to create tools for analyzing data through deployed websites that allows users
to choose, view, and download data. To expand on our knowledge of Python, we developed these sites using
the Django web-framework while utilizing our knowledge of the PostgreSQL database. The websites also
allows our user groups to upload additional data directly. The sites were designed in stages and require little
to no maintenance in each version. The first stage was the initial deployment of the websites, and the second
stage was about rewriting code to allow for more types of data. The UI of these sites are designed for ease of
use across multiple platforms and users.

database upon final approval. During this internship, I assisted the Network Administrator with the hardware
updates, additions, relocation of office hardware, troubleshooting and upgrading of software on multiple
