Telecommunications Experience
I restarted work in the telecommunications field-Central Office Equipment
Installation and data centers.
The equipment that I installed in the last few years is as follows:
Tellbas Titan 5500
Alcatel ADSL
SS7
CISCO 6500 routers and Cajun routers
Lucent 5ess
ADC patch panels
All installs were as a level IV lead installer, running and terminating
signal transmission cables and fiber, running power cable into BDFB and
using hydraulic crimp tools. I also labeled and stitched all cables and
terminated all signal cables, coax, lan, fiber and power. AC/DC/UPS

office switches construction installation, maintenance and repair.
I worked in North Dakota on a new build doing everything from
putting in ladder racks and fiber trays, also mounting 24 bays with running
power from each one to the BDFB and lugged it in. I ran fiber and CAT 5
with termination and wire wrapping. Laced all cable and everything was
up to specs. They sent us to Minnesota after this due to a few men leaving
a job site at Centrylink Central Office, after a week we fixed and
completed what was asked of us, after this we were told they were shutting
down all sites until after the New Year. We took and passed all QWEST
Standards necessary to work in all TYCO and TE Sites and took and
passed AT&T Tests and have access to all sites also Verizon badge.
Employment: 09/02 – 12/09
Cox Communications/Sudden Link
Installer Level 3-4
I have an extensive work history in customer homes and commercial
properties installing cat 5 routers and testing the RJ 45 connections to
make sure I was giving the customers the best product that our company
offered. I always went the extra mile to assure that the customer was
100% satisfied. I have put in many multiple cat 5 lines and always testing
everything I did, the customer premises was something I have always
taken pride in and would never leave a home or business until they were
exactly what they wanted and the way they asked it to be done. Dealing
with clients is an area I always exceeded expectations and I carry that with
me on any job on any customer premises. I did multiple testing on every
job and logged tests into my meter so I could use the tests as a reference
point. I ran coax, cat 5 for multiple routers and set up businesses with full
accessibility for future usage.
