Assist adults with disabilities with daily living skills. I was promoted to Residential manager after 9 months of
my hire and stayed in that position for a year. I stepped down due to a family obligation. However, I have stayed
on at the company and have worked in the various locations within the county and have a vast knowledge of
all clients, not just the residents of the home I work out of.
Assistant Purchasing/Sales Assistant
Old Fort Building Supply - South Bend, IN - January 2008 to June 2010
I assisted sales in bids, customer service, product orders and trucking of those products. I also worked counter
sales and answered customer service questions for customers over the phone. During inventory I worked along
side the purchasing/operations manager to reconcile and adjust inventory levels. I typed commercial quotes
and distributed them via merge mail/fax and other means to the contractors that were bidding the projects.
Every spring/summer I organized, shopped for, set up and took down a monthly customer appreciation cookout.
Along with those duties I also contacted the vendors that were showcased for these events and booked them
and arranged for door prizes and items to be donated. I also did quotes on my own for landscaping/masonry
projects, along with matching brick and stone and providing solutions to construction problems.

Edgewood Building Supply - Carmel, IN - June 2004 to June 2006
Managed brick and stone showroom for a large building materials company in central Indiana. I was responsible
for ordering and displaying samples, literature and information for brick, stone and other building materials. I
also greeted customers that walked in to choose material for their home. I assisted and worked with architects,
contractors and masons on their projects and worked side by side with the sales representatives of the
company. I entered information into a data base that listed certain brick, stone and combinations on local
homes as a reference for potential customers. I typed bids and did estimates for brick and cultured stone
projects. I ordered and displayed tools for 2 locations. I worked with the operations manager on inventory. I
balanced daily cash drawer and answered incoming phone calls for the business.
