Current Clinical Research Interest:

I am generally interested in all aspects of Radiation Therapy Physics including beam

modeling, dose calculation, and treatment planning. My current research interests lie in the areas of Intensity

Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation

Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), Multi-modality (including

Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Magnetic Resonance

Spectroscopy) therapy targeting and therapy assessment, and PTV construction and Tx

delivery in the presence of target motion, 4DCT, 4DCBCT. I am also interested in developing and improving

Quality Assurance programs for radiation therapy in general and for the new emerging technologies in

particular. Total Body Irradiation (TBI) and modeling of radiobiological processes are also special areas of my

interest. Overall, I

have a broad interest and will welcome opportunities to work in new areas of research. I

enjoy mentoring and teaching tremendously and welcome any opportunity to participate in graduate, residency

and outreach programs.
