Projects
Major Project-Automated Giant Wheel:
Automated Giant wheel is based on Embedded and Automation
Technology. It is operated with Kinco PLC (Programmable Logical Controller). SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply)
24v DC is used to give input to PLC. Relays are used to operate the DC motor at three different speeds. Also
power supply of 5v, 8v and 12v on a single chip is used to operate the DC motor using IC 7805, 7808 and 7812.
Semester Projects:
Project Name Description
Touch Switch using IC CD4011 As a switch is used a relay driven by a transistor which is driven from the
output of the IC CD4011 that responds to change in resistance triggered by
touch.
2
Laser Detecting Robot using The user strikes his Laser Light on the LDR (Light Dependent Resisters),
AT89C2051 which are connected on the 2nd port of the micro controller AT89C2051 for
movement of all the four directions of the robot. The robot Motors (DC,
150rpm) are derived with IC L293D for two motors and programmed
differently for every action. Also add self-made alloy wheels on the robot.
Traffic Light Controller Using AT89C51 controller 4 (7 segments) with common cathode. 12 leds
(red, yellow, green). It is used to control the traffic at four different signals
with time delay in segment.
Obstacle Detector Robot Using AT89C51 controller, this project is formed for detection of obstacle in
front of the robot by using two IR (infrared) sensors in front of robot
module. The robot Motors (DC, 150rpm) are derived with IC L293D for two
motors and programmed differently for every action.
