Position: Senior Contracts Officer – Supply & Procurement Department
Specific duties and responsibilities performed under this position include the following:
Negotiations with user departments to initiate a new contract & management of Pre-contract
Processes
Review, edit and compile scope of works for new contracts to be tendered
Compile tender documents for both competitive and non-competitive (sole source) bids such as:
Request for Quotation (RFQ)
Request for Application (RFA)
Request for Proposal (RFP)
Request for Tender (RFT)
Sole Source Memorandum, and
Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Assessment Forms
Arrange and coordinate tender advertisements in the newspapers
Send out tender pack to bidders and responding to queries with clarifications
Compile evaluation criteria and templates
Management of Tender Submissions, Evaluation, Selection, Negotiation, Awarding and Contracts
Execution process
Process documents and create Supplier account in Barrick’s Oracle System

Manage procurement and distribution of telecommunication products and accessories to Telikom
business offices and distributors within Momase Region which includes Morobe, Madang, East
Sepik and Sandaun Provinces
Management of Momase regional warehouse located in Lae, the capital of Morobe Province
Manage signing up of new and existing corporate, dealership and reseller sales agents or accounts
Coordinate and supervise outdoor sales promotions, roadshows and product presentations to various
customers.
