Vantage Drilling – Project Manager with the following responsibilities:

Managing Upgrade and repair of Vantage Drill-ship Platinum Explorer. The project is for the 5 Years Out of Service repairs and re-certification of Well control, change BOP, repair and replace drilling equipment, preventive maintenance of the electrical switchboard, transformers, deck cranes, life-boats, thrusters and conducting UWILD / SPS inspections to meet class requirements.

Managed an upgrade project of drillship to meet Client (Total E&P) contract requirements, the upgrades included well control systems upgrades (BOP / Diverter C&K manifolds), Fire suppression systems; IWOCS package, ROV package, LP mud system and brine system modifications, new HP cement lines, drilling equipment, 3rd party equipment and structural installations, upgrading the DP system, I managed the project planning and execution and completed the project completed under budget and 4 days ahead of schedule with no incidents.

During Project Preparations and Planning Phase

• Identify and develop scopes of works for offshore drilling rigs upgrades and repairs

• Coordinate the review and submittal of as-built drawings, updated GA’s, updated safety plans, station bills and hazardous areas drawings per the latest regulatory requirements
