Helping the patients to take steam inhalation and
spirometery exercise.
Accompanying patient to various department and emergency
tray to treat any critical situation.
Recording of all necessary observation and intervention are
clear.
Taking consent for investigation and various procedures from
p atient attenders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Orientation of Patient and family to surrounding
Provide psychological support to the patient and relatives
Maintaining interpersonal relationship with the patient,
relatives and co-workers.
Provide health education to the patients and relatives
Maintaining highest possible standard of patient care
a t aseptic technique.
Maintaining record and report.
Monitoring vital parameter and intake-output chart.
Giving medicines and injections to the patient, time to time.
Check medicines and injections to the patient, time to time.
Check narcotic drugs a teach shift duty and record in register.
Helping doctors on rounds and assist doctors performing
diagnostic and t herapeutic procedures like insertions of
c entral line, epidural catheterization and ascetic fluid tapping,
N.G tube insertion, lumber puncture etc.
Prepare the patient for procedures like X-Ray,
E CG, CT scan, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, USG, EEG
and Echocardiogram.
Assist in charge nurse in preparation and carrying out of duties.
Unit preparation for receiving the patient after surgery
from recovery room to surgical post operating unit.
Assistance to doctors during treatment.
Ability to function well in charge nurse role.
Basic care and treatment to the patients suffering from injuries.
