Project Chief (Leader) Body Parts Design & Development – Yamaha Ray (115cc Scooter) successfully launched
in September, 2012. Preponed launch by two months
Design specification review & finalization of plastic, rubber, casting, sheet-metal and propriety parts. Extensive
usage of Yamaha CAD software. Study of constraints, material selection, assembly check in layout. Handled
almost 110 parts simultaneously leading a team of 4 engineers.
Analyzing and creating technical requirements, statistical analysis, process capability analysis, and discussion with
suppliers and optimization of the manufacturing cost in comparison to the part/product Cost. Reduction of cost in
development phase by 6%.
VA/VE ideas generation, design changes, evaluation of critical parameters, failure a nalysis and timely
implementation between development and production start phase. Handled design changes of almost 30 parts with
20% change in parameters.
Prototype parts testing & production preparation scheduling with vendors. Maintenance of project schedule for
parts development activities. Met deadlines with 94% success rate.
Project management by mold prototype, trial production activities. Root cause analysis of problems by tools like

globally 10th position and Rookie Award for designing human powered lunar vehicle. Conceived l eadership skills,
powertrain design and ergonomic essence.
SAE-Mini-Baja-India 2009 – Spearheaded a 12-member team for designing and fabricating All-Terrain Vehicle
